Ever wondered where your empty plastic bottles go, or discarded timber? Well, at N*thing is Possible, your everyday waste is turned into beautiful artworks. Happening from now to 25 December 2022, the exhibition is free to enter, and is located at the National Design Centre, presented by Potato Head Studios and OMA.

The exhibition features sustainable art themed around design, art, architecture, music, food, and fashion, brought to life with the help of international and Singapore collaborators. Spanning five levels of the National Design Centre, there’s a surprise at every turn, and you’ll never know which whimsical exhibition you’ll stumble upon – from chairs made out of recycled plastic bottles to styrofoam-wrapped stools, every installation is unique in its own way.

Pose at a minimalistic timber archway, made out of discarded timber and turned into a large, IG-worthy structure. Or step into a room filled with a sea of styrofoam, minimalistic styro-wrap chairs amidst mesh bags of colourful recyclables.

One of the most striking exhibits is the Green Lawn, featuring a lawn of green plastic bottles and bottle caps being the backdrop for a ‘lawn chair’ composed of recycled plastic and bottle caps. The installation is entirely made of plastic shaped in different forms to create shape and texture.

And for the first time outside Bali, the ‘Circle Store’, an interactive installation, a ‘store’ where visitors can pick up sustainable souvenirs from the ‘zero waste kit’ comprising water bottles, cutlery sets, tote bags and shoes.

What’s more, all the recycled products at the exhibition will be turned into sustainable workshop materials, so nothing goes to waste. All visitors to the exhibition are encouraged to engage in sustainable practices, and continue its sustainable mission.
“So, join us and our friends on our Journey to Nothing, and see how N*thing is Possible,” says Potato Head founder Ronald Akili.
