And if you’ve always wanted to paint in the dark, here’s an upcoming workshop running from just 18 to 20 August 2023 that might really appeal to you.
Paint in the Dark is a painting workshop that’ll be taking place in London, Melbourne, São Paulo, and for three days only, Singapore, that is set in a unique retro-futuristic atmosphere.
As a participant, you will get to immerse yourself in a fluorescent neon-lit setting with ambient music playing in the background and unleash your inner artist.
You’ll be guided through the entire painting process, during which you’ll learn to work with both classic and fluorescent paint to create your very own glow-in-the-dark masterpiece.
Each 1.5-hour session also comes with one drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), but you can purchase additional beverages at the on-site bar. Paintbrush in one hand, and glass in the other — what’s not to like? As long as you don’t dip your brush into the wrong glass, all should be fine and well…
Tickets are priced at S$69 per person, but you can purchase a Group Bundle (four tickets) for S$65 per person.
At the time of writing, the 18 August workshop has been completely sold out, but slots for 19 and 20 August are still available, so get your tickets here ASAP!
Oh, and his extremely limited-time workshop will be held at The Common Good, an event space in Joo Chiat, so perhaps you can indulge in a spot of cafe-hopping before or after the session.
