There’s a new pet-friendly abode in the west that will definitely be a treat for you and your furkid. Plus, your furkid will actually get to dine with you at the table — how adorable is that?
Plain Meredith is located in the new pet-friendly mall in Holland Village, One Holland Village. The cafe welcomes both humans and their furry friends to bond over a chill afternoon brunch.
The cafe has a cosy indoor dining area as well as a chill alfresco outdoor dining area which is perfect for your active little pupper to frolic in the yard. There’s also plenty of photo spots in the cafe for you to snap cute pics of your furkid enjoying their little day out.
On the menu (for humans), you can expect the quintessential brunch offerings like the Breakfast Platter (S$28), Classic Eggs Benedict (S$22), and Steak and Eggs (S$32).
They’ve also got hearty sandwiches and burgers like the Plain Meredith Burger (S$28) which sounds absolutely delicious. It features beef patties, cheddar cheese, onion marmalade, drenched in a smokey barbecue sauce and sandwiched between two brioche buns — just thinking about it is making my mouth water.
Pasta lovers, they’ve also got an interesting selection just for you ranging from the classic Bacon Carbonara (S$24), Truffle Aglio Olio (S$22), as well as a Tagliatelle Lamb Ragu (S$26) which comprises slow-braised lamb, cherry tomatoes and grana padano cheese.
Their French Toast (S$14) is not to be missed and it comes served with caramelised bananas, fresh berries, and walnuts, alongside maple syrup. They’ve also got cakes from their sister brand Baker’s Brew which also cannot be missed.
And yes, we didn’t forget about your furry babies. Plain Meredith has a dedicated pet menu for your furkids to dine with you at the table — not gonna lie, some of the dishes on the menu sound so much better than the human food.
On the pet menu are dishes like Porky Meatballs (S$15), Ducky Meatballs (S$16), Baked Sassy Salmon (S$16) — love the name. There’s also Blueberry Bliss Popsicle and Watermelon & Kiwi Popsicle (S$6 each).
But, if your furkid is on a special diet, you can always pick up a little treat for them over at the treats corner. The treats corner is stocked with pet-friendly gourmet treats for you to indulge your furkid in something special while you enjoy your brunch — it’s only fair that way.
