Situated along the luxurious Duxton Road, RPM by D.Bespoke is a lively bar at night, and a calm coffee bar during the day.
Brought by the masters behind Singapore’s Ginza-style bar, D.Bespoke, RPM by D.Bespoke promises a leisure experience with its variety of vinyl tunes—which line the interior walls from head to toe—alongside a specialisation in Japanese shochu.
A more accessible bar compared to its counterpart, RPM by D.Bespoke also hosts regular events featuring guest DJs to take over the turntable. In fact, a huge portion of this pub’s vinyl offerings comes from the owner’s personal collection. To put it simply, what you see on the shelves is essentially the owner’s playlist!
The drinks offering, meanwhile, celebrates the traditional shochu—a traditional Japanese distilled spirit from ingredients like sweet potatoes, barley, rice, or buckwheat—with an extensive collection of the Japanese spirit.
From Martinis and Negronis to Whiskeys, all of RPM by D.Bespoke’s drinks consist of three variations: Classic Style, House Style, and RPM Style. Among these items, be sure not to miss out on the Mariel, available in an Original Style (S$30) or Shochu Style (S$28), which won Japan’s Number 1 Award-Winning Cocktail. The bar’s Tea Cocktail Selection (S$27 each) is a must-try, where you can choose from the four flavours: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter.
Don’t forget to complement your drinks with light and hearty food too! Highlight bites include the Dashi Fries (S$12), Japanese Fried Oyster (S$20), and Yokohama Style Traditional Shumai (S$12 for five pieces), while mains include Napolitan Spaghetti (S$20) and Mentaiko Pasta (S$20).
Although a high-spirited bar during the night, this space takes the form of an aesthetic coffee bar—Corner Corner—during the day as well! Inspired by the charm of Japanese Jazz Kissa (Listening Cafe/Bar), speciality coffee and music intertwine in a quiet corner for you to rest in.
