If you’re feeling all bougie and ready to live the high life, grab a seat at Ginett on weekends between 11:30am to 4pm for brunch and get tipsy on their bottomless supply of Mimosas for 2 hours — all for just S$15++.

It’s quite an irresistible deal, a single cocktail at most bars would set you back more than that. Of course, as the saying goes: “there’s no free lunch in the world.” To get in on the S$15++ unlimited booze, you have to order lunch here. You’ll just have to order a main course each.

And hey, that’s not a bad deal — most of us wouldn’t be drinking on an empty stomach on a weekend afternoon anyways. Plus, Ginett’s main courses are pretty affordable for a restaurant like it too

If you’re up early and want something more breakfasty, go for the classic French Omelette (S$12) that is filled with a generous ensemble of Grueyere cheese, Paris Ham, and comes with a side of mushrooms.

Indulge in dishes like the saucy Shakshuka (S$12) or hearty Mushroom Risotto (S$19) if you’re looking for more of Ginett’s lighter options so you have more stomach space for the bottomless Mimosas.

Ginnett’s signature Free Range Organic Chicken (S$14 for half, S$24 whole) might also be up your alley if you’re a fan of succulent, juicy roasted chickens.

They are also one of the rare places that make their pasta in-house, which can be dressed in moreish sauces like Carbonara (S$18) or Bolognese (S$16).

On the other hand, if bottomless brunches aren’t your thing, Ginett also offers one of the best oyster deals in town. Every Thursday night, they serve their Fine de Claire Oysters for just S$1 a pop.

Not only are these French-imported shellfish plump but there is no trace of any sliminess. These are probably the best quality oysters you’d get for the price.

The food hybrid became an Instagram sensation, and if you’ve never tried it, here’s your chance to do so. Walking On Sunshine is a cafe situated at Orchard Central, and they’re offering a Kroffle Buffet for just S$9.90++ from 9am to 11am daily and a Free-flow Liquid Buffet from 12pm to 9.30pm from S$20++.

Walking On Sunshine is already known as an ethereal garden cafe of beautiful plants and lush greenery. Since it’s located at the corner of Orchard Central’s shopping mall, the glass panes provide plenty of natural light as well.

The place is actually a hair salon, but they also provide a cafe for patrons to chill after their hairdo and for other customers to sit back and relax.

The cafe serves main courses such as Barbeque Pork Ribs (S$24.50) and King Prawn Truffle with Angel Hair Pasta (S$21.50), along with other small bites and desserts.

The Kroffle Buffet is a new addition to the menu. Priced at S$9.90++, the buffet is a spread of eight Kroffle flavours and lasts for two hours.

There are savoury options such as Bacon-Mash Potato, Garlic-cream Cheese and Honey-Mustard Cream Cheese. But if you’re more of a sweet tooth, there are sweeter Kroffles such as Chocolate, Cinnamon and Mixed Berry as well.

It may be difficult to find an affordable place for drinks if you’re in the CBD area. But at Walking On Sunshine, there’s a promotional liquid buffet that’ll allow you to chill with your friends at a wallet-friendly price.

At S$20++, the free-flow liquid buffet is available from 12pm to 9.30pm daily. The Draught Beer Liquid Buffet (S$20++) entitles you to two types of beer — Tiger and Guinness. Since the buffet lasts for an hour, alcohol lovers will find that this promotion is a bang for your buck.

For those who prefer to indulge in wine, there’s also Free-flow Prosecco at S$38++ for a one-hour session.

The promotion for both the Kroffles and liquid buffet will be from now till further notice. Since Walking on Sunshine is a rather popular cafe, we recommend making a reservation before heading down.
