Fun fact: Pasir Ris Mall has three food courts including one that specialises in serving halal food options. Cantine by Kopitiam is located at B2 of Pasir Ris Mall and features 12 food stalls serving your favourite Thai dishes, nasi padang, fish soup, ban mian and more! 

Probably one of the most popular stalls here is Kawan Bowl with their unique scrambled egg rice bowls. Honestly, just looking at it is making me hungry.

The runny and gooey scrambled egg on top of piping hot rice with toppings like grilled chicken, ayam berempah, sambal prawns and more — chef’s kiss. They’re also pretty affordably priced too from just S$5.90!

Speaking of eggs and rice, there’s also Chai-San Omu Rice & Donburi where you’ll be able to get some Japanese-inspired omu rice, donburi as well as other bento sets from just S$7.90. Affordable halal Japanese food? Say less. 

Thai food lovers, there’s even something for you here too! Telur Thai serves authentic halal Thai cuisine so you can definitely be able to get your fix of pad thai, pineapple fried rice, basil chicken, tom yum soup and more. No trip to Bangkok? Telur Thai can fix that! Prices here start from just S$6.90.

It’s no secret by now that mala has become a staple at any food court. And you guessed it, you’ll be able to get your fiery and spicy bowl of goodness here too from Monster Chilli Mala Hot Pot. Even if you’re not a fan of mala hotpot, there’s also other soup bases like Tomato soup for you to enjoy. 

While we’re on the topic of comfort food, of course I have to give a special shout-out to my comfort food, ban mian! Haus Ban Mian serves up bowls of chewy noodles doused in a comforting broth from just S$5.80 that is perfect for cold rainy days or when you’re feeling under the weather. 

For some hearty Western fare, the popular Monster Western is the place to head to. They have all your classic western dishes like grilled chicken, pasta, fish and chips, old-school fried chicken and so much more! Prices are also kept pretty affordable, starting from just S$5.90.

Not gonna lie, I’m actually really impressed with the selection of food available in Cantine by Kopitiam. And, all this is located in one food court! I can only imagine what other hidden gems lie within Pasir Ris Mall.
