Amoeba Debut Film Screening
Following a triumphant, sold-out Asian premiere at the 36th Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF), the highly anticipated film, Amoeba, makes its homecoming at Filmhouse.
Set in an elite all-girls school during O-level year, the film follows Choo and three fellow misfits as they bond over secret societies, rituals, and the particular chaos of being young and furious in a system that wasn’t built for them. Think less Mean Girls, more raw and alive as well as fun, freaky, and shot through with a restless energy that’s hard to shake.
