Here’s what you can do in Southeast Asia’s first integrated plush care centre, the Toy Doctor, from restoring old toys to building your own

by Alexis Lee

Do you remember the times of playing doctor with your plush toys when you were younger? Maybe your plush had a torn ankle or a deflated nose. Whatever the case, the days of role-playing as surgeons to revive our plushies remain vivid in our minds.

Now, not only are there real toy doctors in Singapore, but a whole plush hospital!

At the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, located outside Exploria Park, Toy Doctor is Southeast Asia’s first integrated plush care centre, providing professional toy restoration, engaging workshops, and immersive role-play experiences.

Believing that every plush holds a story worth preserving and restoring, the centre not only repairs your toys, but equips you with skills to recycle or restore pre-loved goods

Toy Treatment

Looking to give your plush a relaxing spa, new outfit, or makeover? Consult a professional for a Toy Treatment (S$28) at the centre to find out how to repair your plushies.

Participating in this workshop also means that you can bring any plush of your choice (with a polyester stuffing and maximum height of 40cm) to work on, resulting in a glowed-up companion to bring home.

Be a Toy Doctor for a Day

Curious about what it’s like to be a toy doctor? Join the centre and become a Toy Doctor for a day (S$35)

Build Your Own Plush
