Taking place on 20 to 25 February 2024 at Changi Exhibition Centre, the first four days of the Singapore Airshow is reserved for trade visitors and the weekend is when the public is welcomed to join in the festivities.

The Weekend@Airshow, formerly known as the Public Day, is where things get more exciting. It will take place on 24 and 25 February and will feature a host of aviation themed family-friendly activities like treasure hunts, meetings with pilots, thrilling aerial displays and more.

Look up in the sky, it’s a bird, it’s a plane! My favourite segment of the National Day Parade was always the air force aerial display portion. Just watching them perform those stunts so effortlessly would always have me on the edge of my seat.

Well, good news to all aviation enthusiasts, and everyone else who loves watching the aerial displays! You’ll be able to catch your favourite high-speed manoeuvres performed by local and visiting aerobatic flying teams. Maybe you might even be able to catch them doing the loopy-loop in real life.

That’s not all, you’ll also be able to get up close with the latest commercial and military aircraft on display. Is there a toilet on a military aircraft? Well, you’ll be able to get the answers to some of your burning questions here and satisfy your curiosity about what the inside of a military jet looks like.

There’ll also be commercial aircraft on display during the Weekend@Airshow. You might even get to experience what it’s like to sit in business class for once in your life.

There’ll also be activities for families with young children like meet and greet sessions with the Airshow’s beloved mascots, Leo and Leonette. Other kid-friendly activities include treasure hunts and constructing eco-friendly paper airplanes.

If you’re looking to get your kids excited about the aviation industry, make sure to bring them down.

Tickets to the Weekend@Airshow are currently available on SISTIC at S$34 for adults, and S$17 for children aged three to 12 years old. There’s also a group package available at S$240 which includes four tickets and one carpark label — perfect for those coming with friends or family.
