Next on the list is Hanya Ada Baju, another local brand raved about by many. In their most recent update on Instagram, they rolled out an interesting concept in their 2026 baju raya catalogue. Inspired by the Chinese New Year and Ramada overlap, they infused elements of the cheongsam into the modern, simple baju kurung. To our pleasant surprise, the series’s overall look is adorable and appeals especially to Chinese Muslims.

This one’s for our plus-sized ladies! Orange Cat is a local brand that prides themselves on comfort and everyday wear. One of their key designs focuses on different variations of gingham, known as checkered patterns.
