August 2025 in Singapore isn’t just about waving our little red flags and catching National Day fireworks! This month, expect splash-tastic water festivals, sizzling BBQ by the beach, and giant inflatable art exhibitions.

Whether you’re celebrating our Lion City’s birthday or looking for nighttime activities, here are 18 activities you can’t miss out on this month.

National Day Parade 2025

Break out your white-and-red outfits for this year’s festivities, because Singapore is ramping up the patriotism this Jubilee with celebrations at multiple locations across town.

For the first time, the Integrated Mobile Column combines air, land, and sea spectacle to feature an epic Aerial Flypast, Drive-Past at the Padang, and Maritime Display at Marina Bay.

Keep a lookout for these timings for a dazzling explosion of fireworks across the night sky:

  • 7.36pm and 7.47pm: Short bursts of fireworks
  • 8.05pm: A longer fireworks display, complete with a light projector show across the city skyline
  • 8.21pm: Final set of fireworks timed perfectly to the National Anthem

If you’re watching from home, look out your windows to catch the ‘Fly Our Flag’ Helicopter Flypast through the heartlands from 5.30pm to 6.20pm.
