Just in: Swedish furniture brand IKEA will be opening their third outlet in Singapore next year. Their new JEM outlet will follow a distinctly different concept from their existing megastores in Tampines and Alexandra. This will be the brand’s first ‘small-store concept’ in Southeast Asia.

Taking over the space currently occupied by Robinsons, the upcoming IKEA store will span 70,000 sq ft across three floors. Though certain signature features like the playground and product warehouse will be excluded from this branch, the full range of IKEA products will still remain available.

Don’t worry, their famous eatery will also be included in the JEM store! IKEA’s signature chicken wings and meatballs will now be easily available to those staying in the West. Expect a long queue on opening day!
