If you’ve visited Marina Bay recently, you might have noticed a new addition to the area. Now, we can finally see the full picture—it’s the first IMBA Theatre in Singapore!
Presenting immersive experiences and gallery exhibitions, IMBA has taken immersive experiences to another level with their debut and ongoing showcase, Botero in Singapore.
A first-of-its-kind showcase celebrating the beloved artist Maestro Fernando Botero, the exhibition brings together close to 130 original works by Botero. Similar to a trilogy, the experience is brought across three distinct formats—the world’s first Botero immersive experience, a major gallery exhibition, and monumental outdoor sculptures displayed at IMBA Theatre and at the Silver Garden of Gardens by the Bay.
A Life in Fullness
At the centre of this showcase is the world’s first immersive experience dedicated to Maestro Fernando Botero, A Life in Fullness. Featuring an animation narrated by Botero’s son and a display of never-before-seen records, this 45-minute audiovisual journey portrays the life of the master outside of his artistic career.
From tracing Botero’s Colombian history to becoming an internationally acclaimed artist, A Life in Fullness reveals the personal stories behind Botero’s monumental art.
A Life in Fullness will open at the IMBA Theatre from 6 March 2026 to 18 May 2026, while tickets to the experience can be purchased here.

Heart of Volume
Complementing the immersive experience is a major gallery exhibition featuring 118 artworks from polished paintings to large indoor sculptures. Heart of Volume also marks the Singapore premiere of the diverse range of Botero works shown in Rome, Baku, and Guangzhou.
The Heart of Volume will open at the IMBA Theatre from 13 February 2026 to 18 May 2026, and tickets to the exhibition can be purchased here.

Garden Grandeur
Extending beyond the gallery walls, Garden Grandeur presents 10 monumental bronze sculptures—four at IMBA Theatre and six across Gardens by the Bay—transforming the outdoors into a stage for public art.
Set within the lush greenery of the Silver Garden, these larger-than-life sculptures are humorous easter eggs to find when walking along Bayfront.
Garden Grandeur is currently ongoing at Gardens by the Bay and the IMBA Theatre, and is free to enter.
