Here are the desserts you need to order for your next festive gathering or party this Christmas 2023

‘Tis the season for dessert fanatics like me to indulge in velvety log cakes, decadent tarts and all sorts of sugary treats at Christmas feasts and parties without feeling guilty. What makes these desserts even more delicious, however, is being able to share them with family and friends in the comfort of home as we bid farewell to 2023.

If you would like to spend an intimate time with your loved ones at home, here’s a list of exquisite Christmas desserts you can order for your parties and gatherings that won’t require you to dress up to the nines or spend hours travelling.

1. Paris Baguette

If you haven’t tried Paris Baguette’s cakes, you’ve been missing out on a top-quality treat. The award-winning chocolatier, Janice Wong, has also unveiled her collection of 2023 Christmas desserts. 

From the realistic looking Santa Pom Pom Celebration Cake (S$88) filled with Baileys panna cotta and coffee chocolate, to the petite Christmas Bauble (S$12) that’s fit for one and her signature box of chocolates (from S$25) — the beautifully decorated confections are sure to wow you and your guests.

8.  Da Paolo Gastronomia

Da Paolo Gastronomia is known for their thoughtfully crafted Italian gourmets, and their Christmas desserts for 2023 promises an Italian flair that’ll leave a lasting impression.

Aside from panettone (from S$75), a traditional sweet bread that is gifted to loved ones in Italy during Christmas, Da Paolo Gastronomia also has a unique White Forest Log Cake (S$89) that you should definitely check out for its rich rum-spiked morello cherry compote, white chocolate yogurt Chantilly and crunchy white chocolate pearls.

Feeling whimsical? Make it an extra merry affair with Andaz Singapore’s carousel-themed sweets. Indulge in their Signature Carousel Cake that offers a fine balance of fragrant Earl Grey milk chocolate, Grand Cru dark chocolate and forest berries marmalade jam punctuated with crunchy hazelnuts.
