We know that we’ve covered Delato before, but they have surprised us yet again with not only a new outlet, but a new menu item. For those unfamiliar with this gelateria, take this as your introduction to a new dessert paradise!
Priding themselves on Sicilian-style ice cream crafted in-house, Delato makes their gelato with 100% dairy and no premixed formula. Thanks to their delicacies all made in-house, this creamery often rotates their flavours so there’s always a selection to anticipate.
Unique to this brand from the start is their roster of uncommon ice cream flavours like Burnt Honey Hojicha, Pink Salt Pistachio, Biscoff Speculoos, and much more. It’s not just the ice cream that’s unique here, but even the waffles.
Throughout the past two years, Delato has levelled up its waffles. Upgrading their Mochi Waffles by incorporating flavours such as Blue Pea Flower, Sweet Potato and Matcha—but they still have one last trick up their sleeve. Their brand-new item, Mochi Brownies, is exclusive to the newly opened Bedok branch. This unconventional base comprises hand-stretched mochi wrapped over fudged brownies, topped with a scoop of ice cream.
After some price revisions, Delato ice cream scoops now start from S$4.20 each, and S$15.90 per pint. As for their waffles, their standard Buttermilk waffles are priced at S$6, the Flavoured Mochi at S$7, and the special Mochi Brownie for S$7.50.
Outside of their menu items, Delato also serves as the perfect supper spot. Their branches are now open until 12am on Fridays and Saturdays, and until 11pm for the rest of the week. Paired with its bright retro interior is Delato’s consistently lively atmosphere, a place that’s hard not to love.
Adding to their attractive flavours and bases, Delato is also offering a 1-for-1 promotion on 29 and 30 November 2025 to celebrate the grand opening of their Bedok outlet. If you happen to miss the grand opening promotion, their Tampines outlet offers waffles at 50% off daily, as long as you order before 7pm.
All three of their outlets are well spread out pretty nicely, in Tampines, Bedok, and Downtown East. Do take note that opening hours differ by outlet, so do check their website to be sure of when to visit.
Get ready to head down for their 1-for-1 promotion, or frequent their Tampines outlet for their waffles at 50% off. Regardless, I find these sweet treats to be worth every cent—and so will you.
