Have you ever thought it was a good idea to bring your kids or younger cousins to the cinemas, only to realise what a big mistake it was? Still, we can’t deny that there are certain movies which are simply too good to watch on a streaming service alone.
In the case of the new movie, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, it’s impossible to not visit the theatres for its premiere.
Which is why Shaw Theatres has got even the youngest toddlers covered, bringing back and adding one more of their kid-friendly theatres—Dreamers

A specialised, family-friendly cinema concept in selected Shaw Theatre outlets, Dreamers is designed for young children and parents. Featuring soft ambient lighting, lower sound volumes, and beanbag loungers instead of traditional seats, kids are able to move around while enjoying the movie.
Dreamers is available in three Shaw Theatre outlets: Shaw Theatres Lido, Shaw Theatres Jewel, and Shaw Theatres Balestier.

Dreamers at Lido
A cosy, cinema-first hall specially made for families with young kids, Dreamers at Lido is perfect for shared laughs, snuggles, and screen time together.
The hall features two tiers of comfy beanbag seating, giving families the freedom to choose their favourite spot, whether it be closer to the screen on the main floor, or further on the upper deck. Seating in Dreamers is also unassigned, so your energetic ones can settle wherever is most comfortable for them, alongside a good view for the family.

With calming colours, gentle lighting, and softer sound levels, Dreamers creates a relaxed environment that’s easy on young eyes and ears. The upper level also includes a child-safe glass barrier, but remember—all children should be kept supervised!
Tickets to Dreamers at Lido are priced at S$18 for adults and S$11 for children above 90cm and under 13 during off-peak periods (Mon to Thu), while toddlers below 90cm enter free. During peak periods (Fridays to Sun), tickets are S$22 for adults and S$14 for children, with free entry for toddlers under 90cm.
So grab your snacks, pick your spot, and enjoy a family movie moment made for our little dreamers.
Dreamers at Balestier
Sink into the enchanting world of Dreamers at Balestier, with a fun and cosy interior featuring vibrant colours and tactile experiences. Did we forget to mention that the front row is furnished with comfy kids-sized bean bags? A visit to Dreamers is definitely a movie outing and playtime rolled into one.

Dreamers at Balestier also features plush cinema loungers, and serves as a creative space suitable for events and functions that require movie-screening capabilities.
Tickets to Dreamers at Balestier are priced at S$16 for adults and S$9 for children above 90cm and under 13 during off-peak periods (Mon to Thu), while toddlers below 90cm enter free. During peak periods (Fri to Sun), tickets are S$20 for adults and S$12 for children, with free entry for toddlers under 90cm.
Dreamers at Jewel
As the first Dreamers theatre in Singapore, Dreamers at Jewel uses a concept of vibrant colours, wall murals, and offers family-friendly movies all year round.
Similar to the outlet in Balestier, Dreamers at Jewel is just as accommodating and comfy—lined with colourful bean bags, a gentler ambience, and softer sounds which children can enjoy.

Tickets to Dreamers at Jewel are priced at S$16 for adults and S$9 for children above 90cm and under 13 during off-peak periods (Mon to Thu), while toddlers below 90cm enter free. During peak periods (Fri to Sun), tickets are S$20 for adults and S$12 for children, with free entry for toddlers under 90cm.
