Think fast: what would your ideal work situation look like if you were given the chance to create your own? If your dream work station involves a (or several) cat, then we have some good news for you. There’s a new co-working space in Bugis that lets you work and play with cute kitties!

Located along Arab Street, Fuzzies is a new co-working space cum cat cafe cum board game cafe. That’s right, you can actually work with cats here.

The entire space is fully equipped with cosy spots for you to work comfortably, complete with Wi-Fi and electric sockets. There’s also plush beanbags and pillows for you to sink into and relax in between sending out emails and typing away on your keyboard — now whether you can actually get any work done here is another question.

What’s also pretty cool is that there’s also a yoga corner here for you to get some stretches in, especially if you’ve been hunched over your laptop for a prolonged period.

But probably the best part of this place is the seven resident cats — Uni, Soba, Udon, Mochi, Taro, and Sake. Fun fact: the cats here are all rescues, and Taro and Sake are siblings. You’ll be able to find the cats’ profiles on the wall, and more importantly, you can find out what the cats really like to make then stick around you longer — very important information indeed.

When they’re not playing at the cat playground, you can find them lounging around the premises. The cats are pretty shy at first but don’t worry, they’ll slowly warm up to you after sometime, and eventually you’ll get to see their true catty personality. Maybe if they’re in a good mood, they might even greet you as you walk in.

In case you’re wondering where the cafe got their name from, you know that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you’re cuddling with the cats? Yup, that’s where Fuzzies got their name from.

Unlike any other cat cafe in Singapore, where you’ll be required to purchase food and drinks or pay an admission fee before you’re allowed to play with the cats. Here, all you need to do is to purchase a ticket to enter fuzzies.

Apart from giving you access to the kitties, the ticket also allows you access to the workstations, games corner, free-flow snacks and drinks, and even a Smart TV.

That’s right, you can also chill with (human) friends and play a cool board game or watch a cool movie on the TV.

By the way, the TV is equipped with Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime, and Disney+ so you could even stream Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour film and have a whole watch party with the cats. There’s also Nintendo Switches available for those looking to play some console games.

Prices for the tickets start from S$15 (weekdays) and S$20 (weekends) for a two-hour session. But, from now until 31 May 2024, Fuzzies is having an opening special where you get 50% off the first two hours — which means you’ll only pay less than S$4 for an hour!

Not bad right? I am totally gonna do that on my next work from home (don’t tell my boss).

Wanna work with cats for a day?

Reservations can be made here.
