It’s the last week of celebrating the Sanrio character Hangyodon at the Singapore Oceanarium. If you’ve been contemplating whether to catch this experience, here are our top aquarium highlights that might solidify your decision.
Characters
Greeting you in almost every part of the aquarium, meet Hangyodon in the form of large inflatable installations, lit-up signage, and discovery points that tell you more about the sea creatures in front of you.

To get a chance to meet this quirky mascot, visit the Ocean Dome at 3pm from Mondays to Thursdays, and at 12pm and 3pm from Fridays to Sundays and public holidays.
Following closely behind Hangyodon, Octopus Sayuri can also be found in similar areas—spreading awareness about ocean conservation in his own spontaneous ways. Together, this pair of sea creatures dominates the Oceanarium and the hearts of ocean lovers.
Exclusive Programs
Easily misunderstood for rocks or inanimate objects, join the aquarium’s behind-the-scenes guided tour to learn about coral care at the Singapore Oceanarium.
Activities in this tour include visiting aqua support areas, watching animal care specialists in action, learning about coral species, care techniques, and learning about the delicate process of coral breeding.
Join the tour before Hangyodon leaves, and receive a limited-edition Animal Spotlight: Coral with Hangyodon lanyard!
Exclusive Treats
If you’re a huge fan of themed treats and merchandise, head down to any of Singapore Oceanarium’s cafes and indulge in their Hangyodon-inspired bites. Notable light bites include Hangyodon mantou, colourful croffle decorated with a Hangyodon topper, and bright blue gelato inspired by Hangyodon’s iconic colour.

The Oceanarium’s delectable finger foods aren’t the only things to look forward to, because limited edition Hangyodon souvenirs are also waiting to be brought home.

From plushies, keychains, mugs, and more—these keepsakes are up for grabs at the Tidal Trove and the Singapore Oceanarium Store.
Extended Hours
If what we’ve shared has not changed your mind so far, this next detail might do the trick. From 22 November 2025 to 31 December 2025, the Singapore Oceanarium will be open until 9pm! Spend a romantic date night with your partner, or an adventurous solo expedition—the experience will surely be one of your most unforgettable from 2025.

Admission to seeing Hangyodon across the aquarium is included in the regular Singapore Oceanarium ticket, while Oceanarium-guided tours are considered additional add-on experiences.
Find the beloved Sanrio blob fish and his octopus friend before they leave, and be sure to take a piece of the experience back home!
