Biggest Impressionism Exhibition in Southeast Asia featuring Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Paul Cezanne, and more

by Alexis Lee

For all avid art lovers, get ready for the largest French Impressionist exhibition in Southeast AsiaInto the Modern: Impressionism. Bringing more than 100 artworks to the Singapore National Gallery, here’s what you need to know before visiting the exhibition happening on 14 November 2025

We’ve surely heard of the artists “Monet” or “Van Gogh” in our art lessons, but it’s quite surreal to say that Monet is now coming to Singapore. Organised in collaboration with the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), National Gallery Singapore will present the Boston museum’s collection of more than 100 artworks by 25 highly acclaimed artists. Singapore will also be the first country to see these treasures, as none of the works in this exhibition have previously been exhibited in Southeast Asia.

The exhibition will feature the Impressionism Movement’s most celebrated (and founding) artists, including Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Edgar Degas, Paul Cézanne, and many more.
