by Tai Wing Xin

I have to admit, I don’t get the Labubu hype. But Jellycats are undeniably cute, and if you can’t own one, eating their dessert counterpart would be the next best thing.

I’ve scoured the Internet to bring you five sweet spots serving up Jellycat-inspired desserts from macarons to cakes, so cute that you’ll hesitate to take a bite!

While they specialise in macarons, halal-certified Anabella Patisserie is now spreading smiles with its new Smiley Bakes series.

The Jelly Cake (6-inch: S$78.80, 8-inch: S$118) is a chocolate lover’s dream with its layers of chocolate truffle sponge and chocolate mousse.

For something lighter, the Smiley Lychee Rose Cake (6-inch: S$78.80, 8-inch: S$118) contains vanilla sponge, rose-scented chantilly cream, and juicy lychee pieces.

There’s also the Smiley Egg Macarons (Box of 12 for S$39.90) in the Creme Brulee flavour.
