Cottagecore girlies, I see you — Vicbakery is here to fulfil all your dreams of frolicking in the sunshine with dainty cakes and picturesque bakes.

Tucked away in One-North Eden Condominium, this new bakery is sandwiched between the popular Wheathead Bakery and Burnt Cones Gelato, a few minutes walk from Buona Vista MRT.

If I could sum up the vibes of this place in one sentence, it would be a Victorian fairytale come to life with delicate florals and rustic wooden furniture. There’s even a retro TV display for your selfies.

If the name sounds familiar, it’s because Vicbakery started as an online, home-based bakery in 2015. The name is also affectionately named after the friendly owner, Vicky.

Her light and fluffy cakes are a work of art (seriously, these are too pretty to eat). They’re also healthier with lower sugar, suited to our Asian taste buds.

Starting at S$9.80 per slice, there’s a wide range of rare, delicious flavours like Mixed Berry Cream Cheese, Oreo Sea Salt, and Guava Jasmine Grape.

Personally, I’ll be making a beeline for the Mint Chocolate (and no, mint desserts do not taste like toothpaste).

The bakery also serves Mochi (S$5.90), seashell Macarons (S$5.90), and Dacquoise (S$5.90). The flavours rotate often, so you’ll just have to check them out in person.

Pair your luscious treats with a drink. You’ve got to try the signature Creme Brulee Latte (S$9), a cafe latte topped with thick cream, a caramelised crunchy top, and a Biscoff biscuit.

If you’re not a coffee fan, there are also hot teas such as the Peach Oolong Tea (S$9.90) and Mango Black Tea (S$9.90).

Best of all, there’s no GST or service charge here.

If you have a special occasion coming up, Vicbakery also offers fully customisable cakes, available for order on their website.

The sky’s truly the limit — whether you’re looking for a whimsical floral cake, classy fondant cakes, or even cartoon-style cakes in fun shapes like the Poké Ball or Transformers, Vicbakery is here to deliver.
