Josephine French Cuisine & Wine Bar has a S$38 brunch buffet with free-flow oysters and cocktails on Saturdays

Evidently, weekends are made for all things free-flow, like steak, Italian-style pasta, and now, oysters.

Instead of stuffing your face with oysters at a seafood buffet, why not keep it simple by focusing on those luscious molluscs at Josephine French Cuisine & Wine Bar?

The modern French bistro-style restaurant in Telok Ayer may be best known for dishes like Pan Seared Foie Gras, Honey Baked Half Camembert, and its smoky charcoal-grilled steaks, but did you know that it also offers an incredibly value-for-money oyster buffet every Saturday?

Brunch at Josephine’s is an elegant affair, given that you can tuck into French classics like Eggs Florentine, Croque Monsieur, and the Baker’s Basket, a selection of butter croissants, grilled baguettes, and sourdough with sea salt butter and homemade forest berry jam.

However, the Free Flow Cocktail & Oysters Brunch (S$38 per person) will delight those who find it hard to resist oysters and bubbly (like me).

For 90 minutes, diners can feast on free-flow Fine de Clair NO4 oysters and cocktails — how many glasses of Mimosa, Bellini, and/or Prosecco can you down?

Those who wish to go all out and embark on the ultimate boozy brunch experience can opt for the extra fancy Bubbly Free Flow Champagne & Oysters Brunch (S$68 per person). Free-flow champagne? Sign me up!

In the mood to imbibe over the weekend? A couple rounds of oysters and prosecco should do the trick.
