Buckle up for LEGO’s life-sized Formula 1 (F1) race experience at ION Orchard!
From 25 September to 12 October 2025, ION Orchard’s outdoor atrium is set to transform into a full-blown Formula 1 experience. Unleash your inner Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton, or Carlos Sainz.

If you’re someone who lives for the rush of Formula 1 or simply can’t resist the charm of a good LEGO build, here’s a little guide for all the fun activities in store at LEGO’s The Thrill Pop-Up Experience, that’ll get your engine revving.
Photo Op
Aside from the chance to get up close and personal with this Williams Racing FW46 F1 car, you can pose alongside it. Let everyone in the friend group know you’ve had this amazing experience by sharing it on your socials.

As an F1 fanatic, I was elated to find out that the wheels of the five metres long, two metres wide, life-sized LEGO replica are the same ones used by the Atlassian Williams racing team.
Both of us who attended the event were F1 fans, which we only discovered when we noticed each other’s excitement while awaiting the unveiling of the race car. We had to queue again, just to touch the wheels, because we would never miss any opportunity to be in the same space as anything F1-related.

The LEGO circuit
Build your own LEGO F1 race car, and send it speeding down the track. I had a blast sending my car down, but I hope this is not the closest I get to being an F1 racer.
Radio Repairs
You’ll have the chance to step into the pit crew’s shoes at this game station. Race against the clock at this station, because now you’re in charge of changing your favourite racer’s wheels — at a record time.

I took 15 slow and steady seconds to change the wheels. Sorry, Max. Don’t be disappointed. I promise, I’ll do better.
Pedal Power
This station is perfect to test your speed and stamina. Challenge your reaction time and endurance to see if you have what it takes to be an F1 driver.
I saw how hard the participants stomped the ground to race against each other — never mind, sorry Charles, maybe one day, I’ll meet you as a fan instead.

When you’re done with all four stations, head to the redemption counter to redeem a S$5 off voucher with a minimum S$15 spend on any LEGO sets*. Kids who’ve completed all stations can redeem a mini LEGO toy car*.

If you’re all about shopping and collecting LEGOs (just like me, rip my wallet), there is also a merchandise section.

You’ve worked hard, so take the chance to buy something nice for your loved ones (or yourself), who are F1 fanatics.
If you’re someone who lives for the rush of Formula 1, or simply can’t resist the charm of a good LEGO build, get your engine revving here now!
