Boba lovers, there’s a new bubble tea in town you’d never expect. LULI’s TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) bubble tea has just launched in Singapore.
Founded by six sisters from Nanjing, LULI was conceived out of a desire to make TCM accessible to the younger generation.
Backed by clinical proficiency, LULI offers a revolutionary tea experience where the use of traditional herbs and aesthetic designs that modern consumers crave are blended.
The brand uses 100% natural, premium herbal ingredients to concoct over 20 beverages. There’s surely something in store for everyone.
Over at their store, an AI-powered mirror performs a “health checkup” for you to get recommendations on the food and drinks that suit your body’s needs (though we urge you to take the results with a pinch of salt).
LULI’s top–selling drink, Ginseng Vitality (S$8.80), is a revitalising fusion of ginseng, chrysanthemum, and rose to aid in awakening your senses, sharpening your focus, and nourishing your body from within. It is the drink you should go for if you need to clear your mind.
If bloatedness is a cause of concern for you, the Roselle Digestive (Medium: S$5.50, Large: S$6.50) would be the perfect drink to get at the newly opened bubble tea store. The drink is infused with roselle, aged tangerine peels, and hawthorn that awakens the palate and supports digestion.
Another highly recommended drink is the Autumn Pear Jasmine White (S$8.60). This beverage is a silky blend of autumn pear, jasmine green tea, fresh milk and bird’s nest jelly. These ingredients help moisten the lungs, soothe dryness, and restore hydration in the body.
If you’re a neophiliac, be sure to try out the Lingzhi Dragon Ginseng (S$9.80) because it is a Singapore-exclusive drink.
Ginseng and reishi unite in this modern herbal milk brew. This nourishing brew replenishes qi, boosts vitality and calms the spirit.
There are also coffee blends such as the Roselle Americano (S$7.50) and Autumn Pear Latte (S$8.50) for the health-conscious coffee fanatics who can’t yet give up excessive caffeine.
If you’re neither a fan of herbal-tasting drinks nor coffee, try the hand-punched lemon brew — Roselle Tangerine Peel Zest (Medium: S$5.90, Large: S$6.90).
Or the fruit tea — Mulberry Rose Tea (S$7.50)
Daredevils can take on the rice wine brews, such as the Heart Blossom Rose (Medium: S$7.90, Large: S$8.90), for something refreshing on the palate.
With so many beverages on the list, there surely will be something tailored just for you. Will you be heading down to revitalise and nourish your body after a long week at work?
