In time with ushering in Lunar New Year, Floral Fantasy is now home to a Disney-themed festive display, showcasing 4-metre tall sculptures of our favourite characters all dressed up for the festive season.
Available for a limited time only, from 25th January to 23rd February 2022, it makes for a perfect photo opportunity for both kids and Disney lovers alike.
This display comes in collaboration with a local award-winning producer of luxury art collectables, XM Studios, as they launch their Mickey & Friends ‘The Joy of Festival’ series of figurines, just in time for Chinese New Year. The figurines will be available at a special pop-up at Floral Fantasy Gift Shop and are while stocks last.
Donald and Daisy perform an energetic lion dance, while Mickey and Minnie herald blessings for the year ahead with a dragon dance, representing the dragon’s embodiment of power, excellence, and luck. Adorable Chip and Dale unfurl a banner with the words “Happy New Year” in Chinese, ushering in hope, happiness and good fortune this 2022 and beyond.
Our favourite has got to be 2022: Year of The Tiger, featuring Mickey holding the cutest baby tiger cub, a la Lion King style, while standing on a pile of shiny golden coins. Mickey holding this symbol of leadership, courage, and vitality reflects our own wishes for the year ahead, to behold good health, prosperity and hope, that we will triumph over the years past with an even better 2022.
