Discover Mongo Land where magic comes alive featuring Vietnam’s largest dry slide, magnificent views, a petting zoo with camels and capybaras and more

A giant rainbow slide, a gorgeous petting zoo, and grand views.

If that sounds like your thing, then welcome to Mongo Land, a beautiful tourist attraction based in Da Lat, Vietnam

Situated in the mountains, comfortable shoes are recommended so you can enjoy the full experience as most activities are outdoors.

It’s also best to visit during the dry season from November to April so the weather won’t quite literally rain on your parade.

Price-wise, ticket prices for adults start from VND100000 (S$5.22) and for children below 1.2m tall, VND60000 (S$3.13). Aside from park admission, the ticket also includes a complimentary bottle of water, animal feed, and all access to the park’s activities. So, like you’re getting a bang for your buck.

Mongo Land’s main attraction, of course, is the hard-to-miss rainbow slide. As the largest dry slide in all of Vietnam, this rainbow slide is as stunning as it is fun.

Fun fact! The slide’s colourful geometric patterns are reminiscent of those found on traditional Mongolian garments.

Take on the rainbow slide by yourself or with your travel buddies. Either way, be sure to grip your seat tightly as you speed down this beast of a ride.

Not keen on getting an adrenaline rush? Don’t worry as there’s grass-sliding, a similar but less adrenaline-inducing ride.

So, hop onto a sliding car and propel yourself down a mini hill. With the soft grass to pad you in case of a fall, this makes for a safer but still fun ride for kids too.

To further experience the Mongolian culture, head over to Mongo Land’s archery corner. Put your aim to the test and shoot your shot. As the arrow tips aren’t sharp, the activity is safe for kids too!

After a whirlwind of thrilling activities, wind down by heading over to the petting zoo. From gentle giants like camels and alpacas to cute little critters like capybaras and guinea pigs, there’s something for everyone.

This is also where the animal feed (the one that comes with your ticket!) comes in handy, so do feed the animals to your heart’s content too.

When you’ve had your fill at the petting zoo, feast your eyes on Mongo Land’s aesthetically-pleasing views.

However, before you set out on a quest for the best photos and sights, consider spicing things up by renting a traditional Mongolian attire from VND200000 (S$10.44).

After all, you can’t say you’ve been to a Mongolia-inspired destination without trying on the iconic traditional outfits.

And if you want a complete makeover, fully transform yourself to look just like a Mongolian local by topping up another VND200000 (S$10.44) for makeup.

When you’ve got your gear on, head over to the tent-themed area where you can soak in the views atop lush green hills and colourful tents. Afterwards, finish by snapping photos of whimsical windmills that resemble those from Europe.
