A brand new fusion café outlet in Lentor, Nolita Kitchen serves classic Italian dishes made with premium Japanese produce. You might think this unconventional combination exists purely for social media hype, but this kitchen proves us wrong with their umami-rich pastas and single-serve pizzas packed with bold flavours.

Pasta

Starting with their fusion pastas, look forward to their signature dish, the Nolita Signature AOP (S$19), featuring large chunks of bacon and prawn, mixed in an aglio olio base. Despite its seemingly ordinary recipe, the extra touch of garlic extra virgin olive oil is what differentiates the Nolita Signature AOP from others.

A more experimental dish from Nolita Kitchen, the Uni Tartufo (S$28) pasta brings an unexpected pairing of sea urchin and lobster in a rich truffle cream sauce. Generous with seafood and priced below S$30, it remains a reasonable choice.

Cult-favourite Italian pastas are also available. Classics include the Ragù Alla Bolognese (S$19) filled with wagyu ragù; Tokyo Carbonara (S$19) topped with cremini mushrooms and dry-cured ham prosciutto, as well as the Nori Pesto (S$21) tossed in an Italian Basil sauce.

Flatbread

Additionally, Nolita’s single-serving flatbread pizzas make a great addition to your pasta mains. Similar to their innovative spaghetti menu, these flatbreads are just as diverse. The standout dish, however, would be the simple Caprese Milano (S$18), topped with small crushed tomatoes, basil, and soft burrata

For a more elevated option, their Black Truffle (S$25) flatbread is adorned with porcini truffle purée, forest mushrooms, and truffle slices

Filled with experimental dishes to discover, this new gem along the Thomson–East Coast Line is well worth adding to your café-hopping list!
