Here’s where you can find Singapore’s biggest community of plant enthusiasts and like-minded individuals: at The Planters’ Market. Tucked snugly in Gardens by the Bay’s Waterview Room, this free floral extravaganza is happening this weekend from 12 to 13 November.
From orchids to caladiums, there’s something for everyone, and the friendly vendors will help you find what you’re looking for, and recommend plants that are easy to maintain.

What will you fall in love with? Maybe it’s a uniquely-shaped purple shamrock (also known as the love plant) or a vibrant orchid – whichever you ‘swipe’ your card on will be the one for you. With over twenty stalls selling a variety of plant supplies like ceramic planters and accessories, as well as plants, of course, you’ll definitely be spoilt for choices!

Plant hobbyist @amoslearnstoplant is just one of the many unique vendors you’ll see here. The plant-fluencer has his own greenhouse, and, as you’ve probably inferred from his title, takes his captive audience on his own planting journey. Lately, he’s also released a series of plant-themed enamel pins (we don’t know if they’ll be available at the booth but we’re hoping!).

@plantsingapore (Chye Heng)’s curated array of horticulture are sure to impress, and they can definitely help you find great plant gifts! From gentle callunas to jagged alocasias, it’s clear that there’s love and effort put into each plant cultivated.

With an escapist theme, @reluctantcitydweller is a plant paradise longing to escape this concrete jungle, and they might just have; imagine living among large monsteras (yes, we know, this is a real plant), and crawling terrestrial plants! You can expect potted plants, cute succulents, and plenty of fun from this booth!
Singapore is known as a garden city, and the Singapore Planters’ Market has plenty of green surprises, so you won’t want to miss the Planters’ Market Gardens by the Bay this weekend!
