March is shaping up to be an action-packed month with exciting new openings and countless events. If you’re still scratching your head and wondering about things to do this month, we have got you covered.
Here is the ultimate roundup of things to do in March 2025!
1. Rainforest Wild Asia

Say hello to Rainforest Wild Asia, the first-ever adventure-based zoo in Asia opening on 12 March 2025.
Designed to mimic the layers of a real rainforest, this park takes you from the towering canopy to mysterious underground caverns, making you feel like you’ve stepped straight into a real Southeast Asian jungle.
For adrenaline junkies, get ready to fork out an additional fee to try out three heart-pounding activities. The Canopy Jump lets you experience a controlled free-fall from 13m or 20m, or opt for Critter Crawl where you can crawl through a 60m dark cave tunnel with only your head lamp.
Lastly, you can go for the AIA Vitality Bounce, which has three open-sky bounce zones at least 3m above ground.
For those craving even more adventure, join one of the exclusive three-hour harnessed tours that take you to hidden areas not accessible to regular visitors.
The Wild Apex Adventure Tour takes you high above the treetops. You’ll climb metal rungs, ladders, and suspended bridges, all while soaking in breathtaking views of Mandai Wildlife Reserve and Langur Island below.
Each tour, which includes admission and a photo, is priced at S$192 for adults, S$182 for children, and S$172 for seniors.
If adrenaline isn’t your thing, there’s still plenty to explore. The park features eight unique zones of open-concept habitats, including karst formations, lush forests, and hidden caves. With 7,000 Southeast Asian trees and shrubs planted, expect to be surrounded by exotic greenery, rare wildlife, and stunning landscapes.
And speaking of caves, The Cavern is next level.
Inspired by the Mulu Caves in Sarawak (the prettiest UNESCO World Heritage Site in admin’s opinion), this immersive zone is home to racer snakes, giant black scorpions, and other shadowy cave dwellers.
But don’t worry. If you’re not a fan of creepy crawlies, there’s a safer walkway where you can admire the scenery without any unexpected encounters!
To celebrate its grand opening, local residents can enjoy discounted tickets until 31 March 2025. Tickets for adults are at S$33, S$21 for children aged three to 12, and S$20 for seniors aged 60 and above.

3. Free Orchestral Concerts for the Family

March 2025 is set to be an exciting month for music lovers in Singapore. The Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO) presents three free concerts, bringing the beauty of classical music to audiences across the island.
Under the baton of Associate Conductor Rodolfo Barráez, indulge in the magic of the SSO Lunchtime Concert, SSO In Your Community, and Temasek Foundation × SSO: Music in the Meadow.
Psst, these are completely free, so just arrive early for the best seats!
The SSO Lunchtime Concert 2025, happening on 12 March 2025, offers a refreshing midday escape with a delightful afternoon of classical music at Victoria Concert Hall.
If you’re looking for a way to recharge your day, this is the perfect opportunity to sit back, relax, and enjoy the music performed by Singapore’s flagship orchestra. Admission is on a first come, first-served basis, so make sure to arrive early!
SSO In Your Community 2025 is happening in your neighbourhood (at least for Bishan residents) at the Auditorium, Eunoia Junior College.
Happening on 14 March 2025, SSO In Your Community aims to bring classical music closer to you, making it a convenient and accessible experience for those who may not usually visit a concert hall. Get ready for an intimate and heartwarming evening of music. Also, be sure to eat dinner before coming as the concert starts at 7.30pm.
For a truly magical evening, Temasek Foundation × SSO: Music in the Meadow on 15 March 2025 offers a relaxed outdoor concert experience at The Meadow, Gardens by the Bay.
It’s pretty vibey, with the rich sounds of a live orchestra in the background as the sun sets. Romantic, isn’t it?
Oh, the concert starts at 6.30pm, but you may want to arrive earlier for some fun!
Between 4pm to 5pm, you can have a go with different instruments like the trumpet, cello, and flute at the SSO’s first-ever outdoor Instrument Petting Zoo. Or head straight to the food truck to satiate your hunger.

4. Be a Chorister for a Day

Ever dreamt of singing your heart out in a grand concert hall (admin sure has)?
If you love belting out notes in the shower, The Choral Encounter is your chance to take that passion to the next level. Even if you’ve never experienced symphonic choral music before, this is the perfect opportunity to start.
For S$109, The Choral Encounter invites you to spend the day on 30 March 2025 surrounded by the beauty of choral music. Whether you’re a seasoned singer or someone who simply loves to sing, this event offers a rare chance to perform alongside a professional chorus in an iconic venue.
You’ll get the chance to train, rehearse, and perform at the historic Victoria Concert Hall, with guidance from Singapore Symphony’s Choral Director Eudenice Palaruan and Assistant Choral Conductor Ellissa Sayampanathan, alongside the talented choristers of the Singapore Symphony Chorus (SSC) and Singapore Symphony Youth Choir (SSYC).
Throughout the day, you’ll dive into workshops and rehearsals covering classical choral masterpieces by Handel, Vivaldi, and Bach. Along with choral training, performance techniques, and vocal tips, this experience will help to refine your skills.
After a full day of preparation, you’ll take the stage for an evening concert alongside SSC and SSYC choristers. Friends and family are welcome to watch (no pressure, but don’t mess up okay).
Plus, participants will enjoy ticket discounts for selected 2025 concerts, exclusive merchandise, and CD recordings by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.
To join, you must be 18 years or older, and sign-ups close on 19 March 2025. While the ability to read music is a bonus, it’s not compulsory. So don’t hesitate to sign up even if you’re new to choral singing.
Register now before spots fill up, and let your voice be part of something extraordinary!

6. Cavern Restaurant

Ever wondered what it’s like to dine in a cave?
Look no further than Cavern Restaurant, a one-of-a-kind dining experience tucked inside Rainforest Wild Asia, also opening on 12 March 2025. Modelled after Sarawak’s legendary Mulu Caves, this immersive eatery brings the mystery and thrill of cave exploration, minus the actual exploring.
The setting is nothing short of spectacular, with rocky walls, dim atmospheric lighting, and even a climbable rock formation for the adventurous (though I haven’t seen anyone scale the wall just yet).
As for the food, Cavern Restaurant promises a mix of international Western flavours so you can expect a hearty lineup of flame-grilled, smoky, and rustic dishes. Here’s a sneak peek.
For starters, prices start at S$12 with items like Stone Hearth Loaf (S$12), Spicy Wings (S$16 for four pieces), Grilled Octopus Skewer (S$22 for three pieces), and Cave Hot Dog (S$18).
Sides starts from S$10 featuring Cavern Fries (S$10), Potato Salad (S$12), Forest Mushrooms (S$12), and Mixed Roast Vegetables (S$12).
Lastly, mains start from S$20 with items like Stone Age Burger (S$20), Charcoal-Grilled Spring Chicken (S$28), Cave Smoked Ribs (S$32), and more.
While the prices might be on the steeper side, you’re not just paying for the food, you’re also dining in a cave (admin is queen of justification). So, if you’re up for a meal with a touch of adventure, Cavern Restaurant is definitely worth the experience!
