10 ways to have fun in November 2025, from attending PetExpo Fiesta, Anime Festival Asia, National Museum Birthday Bash, and more

October flew by us in a blink, from Formula 1 Grand Prix after parties to Deepavali celebrations and even spooky Halloween fun time. 

Now that we’re heading into November, get ready for a month packed with fun events — perfect for spending quality time with your favourite people and making new friends along the way!

So here’s our list of exciting events that you should totally look out for.

1. Singapore Writer Festival

Kicking off with Singapore Writer Festival (SWF) 2025, a must-visit annual cultural event for creatives, storytellers, authors, and anyone who loves diving into the world of imagination. 

From 7 November 2025 to 16 November 2025, SWF is rolling out a bunch of events such as meet-and-greets, workshops, panel discussions, and more. These events are spread across museums, theatres, libraries, The Art House, and more. 

If you’re big on science fiction (Sci-FI), then don’t miss out on Ken Liu’s keynote talk. He’s one of the headliners and will be exploring Artificial Intelligence (AI) and technology through his mind-blowing Sci-Fi works. 

Tickets go for S$24 for the Festival Pass or S$12 for the Youth Pass. Some individual programs have a range, starting from S$10 onwards. You can check out the full schedule and ticket details here

2. *SCAPE Events

SCAPE* is coming back to life with a lineup of exciting back-to-back events you wouldn’t want to miss.

First up, there’s the Feel Trip Immersive Youth Exhibition, happening from 8 November 2025 to 9 November 2025, 11am to 7pm. The exhibition dives deep into four emotions: anger, grief, serenity, and euphoria, where visitors will experience these emotions through interactive workshops, such as making clay or their very own plushies. 

Then, on the same dates, get ready for the Super Tattoo Fun Times kicking off at 12pm. Expect a full-on mini music festival with local DJs, an art market featuring creative vendors such as Surface Noise Records, and more. Tickets are going for S$38, and you can grab yours here

Don’t call it a night just yet — Supersonic.MP3 is also happening on 9 November 2025 at 5pm, another mini music festival with local and regional acts such as ICEBOX, Out of The Middle!, and RESORT.

And since you’ll already be in the area, make a quick stop at Somerset Youth Park for the Somerset Graff Jam going down the same weekend from 2pm onwards. Chill with Yeastside’s sourdough pizzas and make new friends while having fun too.

3. Green House Festival

Get ready, as Singapore’s first sustainability-led retail festival is happening at the newly opened Temasek Shophouse: Green Festival 2025

The biggest highlight is the open walk-in wardrobe where visitors get to swap their clothes with others at Fashion Pulpit. But not only is Green Festival a retail haven, it’s also a weekend fully dedicated to everything sustainable.

You’ll get to explore nine immersive zones, from kitchen to living room, each showing you a glimpse of what sustainable living really looks like in your daily life. 

There’ll also be over 40 free workshops for anyone keen to learn and get hands-on experience. Ranging from yoga sessions, natural dye-making, city adventure trails with TEVA, and tons of other creative activities that’ll make you look at sustainability in a whole new way.

4. Discover Your Good

Everyone’s been missing Elphaba and Glinda’s tear-jerking friendship last year, especially when Wicked dominated the big screens. 

Now, they’re back with the sequel, Wicked: For Good, which will be premiering sometime this month. 

What’s better than going to the cinema with friends? It’s visiting the Discover Your Good exhibition, based on the Wicked franchise, with friends!

Sprawled across Sentosa, you will get to see magnificent sculptures, such as Glinda’s Bubble or Elphaba’s Hat.

It’ll be available from 10 November 2025 to 4 January 2026, and there are even exciting light shows to watch. Take note of the schedule here

5. PetExpo Fiesta 2025

Were you scrolling endlessly for something fun to do with your furry besties? Stop right here, as you’ve just hit the jackpot with PetExpo Fiesta 2025. 

Over 150 brands and lifestyle vendors are participating, plus there are tons of activities guaranteed to keep tails wagging all day long. 

Your pets will have a blast at interactive play zones—the Ball Pit Bonanza, where pets get to dive and play around in a ball pit, and the Cat Box, where your feline friends can lounge around playfully. There’s even a Pet Buffet Line where they can chow down on yummy treats.

6. National Gallery Singapore’s 10th Birthday Bash

Happiest 10th birthday to our National Gallery! This year, the gallery has planned a chock-full of things to celebrate this milestone together with you. 

Everyone will get free access to all major exhibitions during extended opening hours from 10am to 10pm on 15 November 2025 and 16 November 2025. On top of these exhibitions, visitors can expect to enjoy a pop-up market filled with 14 local creative brands and quirky festive food and drinks.

As for the birthday itinerary, visitors can sign up for interactive programmes such as Artsplaining tours by celebrities Gurmit Singh, Liu Ling Ling, and more, or for Gallery Rave Day Edition, a sober rave party on the Terrace

7. Applefarmacy Pop-Up Market

We’ve checked out plenty of vintage and creative markets this year, but here’s something super exciting—a brand new pop-up market is landing at Jalan Pemimpin this month.

Applefarmacy Pop-Market is run by four friends who want to shine a spotlight on local, small, up-and-coming vendors. If you’re a regular at Resurrack or Public Garden, you’ll probably recognise some of these faces. 

Expect to see Faery Dium, tarot readers, trinkets, and vintage clothes, all happening from 21 November 2025 to 23 November 2025, from 12pm to 7pm

Free entry to all, so make a pit stop, explore, and support local talents while you’re at it, too.

8. Anime Festival Asia 2025

If you made it to Asia Comics Expo last month, then get ready for the ultimate anime experience—Anime Festival Asia (AFA) 2025, happening from 28 November 2025 to 30 November 2025

Just like every anime convention, you can expect exhibitions by creators, real-life shows, cosplayers and more. Meanwhile, for AFA, it’s split into four main zones: Exhibition Hall, Day Stage, Night Concerts, and Cosplay and Community Spaces

Some highlights to expect this year are the meet and greets with popular Thai cosplayer Thames Malerose and more. May’n and HIMEHINA are some of the Japanese Pop (J-POP) acts that will grace the Night Stage, too.

9. Mercury Festival: Fairies & Fable

Public Garden, Resurrack, and Applefarmacy are just some popular pop-up markets, but now it’s time for one of the biggest art installations yet—Mercury Festival: Fairies & Fable, happening from 28 November 2025 to 30 November 2025

Just like Applefarmacy, Mercury Festival started as a passion project amongst five besties. Since then, it’s grown into a full-blown series, with their last event, Mini Mercury Festival, being in September 2025

This November, catch them at Expo Garnet Meeting Room, featuring over 200 vendors with everything from custom art merchandise, vintage clothes, quirky trinkets, tarot readings, crystal accessories, and much more. Expect whimsical goodies and treats to your heart’s desires, all conveniently placed in one spot. 

Entry is free, and with the festival running from 12.30pm to 8.30pm, there’s plenty of time to browse, shop, and snag your favourite finds.

10. SG60 Heart&Soul Experience

Heart&Soul is a collaborative exhibition between Digital Development and Information and the National Library Board. It aims to share with everyone Singapore’s vision for the future. 

From effective and immersive storytelling to lifelike scenarios, participants can get a peek into what the future holds, based on Singapore’s nation-building journey.
