Not exactly a “rooftop bar” per se, but Arbora provides one of Singapore’s most unique hilltop dining experiences high up on the peak of Mount Faber, enchanting you with distant views of the ocean. While the list mainly comprises fancy cocktail bars and lounges, LeVeL 33 is a unique entry that focuses on beer (it’s the world’s highest urban microbrewery). So if you’re a fan of beer, there’s no more snazzy place for you to grab your beers than at this rooftop bar that offers a spectacular view of Marina Bay.

Expect the freshest, best-quality booze coming straight out of their kegs in the back. If you’re feeling the munchies, Beer Bites are available from 9.30pm to 10.30pm. While MONTI is situated at a lower vantage point than most other rooftop bars in Singapore, it is one of the few that gives you unhindered views of Marina Bay Sands and the skyline from the foot up, sitting right on the periphery of the Marina.

It can be easy to miss it, but you’ll know you’re near when you spot Solace Airlines photobooth, The Halal Corner, or Vintagewknd. The two-storey space stands out with its wood-toned exterior and wooden signboard. Inside, vintage Indonesian pop posters, retro furniture, and a mural of a pakcik (uncle in Bahasa Melayu) by the roadside set the scene.

If the first floor is crowded, head upstairs to the second floor, an 80s-inspired time capsule. Grab a seat anywhere and place your order at the counter downstairs.

Since its launch in 2024, the menu has gone through multiple revisions and changes, with some items being rarer than usual. In our case, we were lucky to try the Nasi Goreng Ayam Penyet Sambal Ijo (S$15), Tahu Sumedang (S$8), and a classic glass of Teh Ais Manis (S$3.85).

Starting with the mains, the Nasi Goreng Ayam Penyet Sambal Ijo features brightly coloured kerupuk (crackers in Bahasa Indonesia), homemade green chilli paste, fried chicken, tempe (fried fermented beans), fried tofu, and a fried chicken thigh.

The fried rice is spicy by itself, while the green chilli paste neutralises the spice with its sourness. Feeling adventurous, we added Sambal Merah (S$1) to test, which was spicier (obviously, the red chilli paste!). Dipping the crackers into the sambal was truly addictive.

Although the fried chicken appeared tough, it was soft and tender, easily shredding from the bones. Each bite transported us back to the roadside warungs, especially since the spiciness was comparable to the standard Indonesian cuisine. 

Not a fan of spice? Opt for the Nasi Ayam Penyet (S$12), served with white rice instead of fried rice. Alternatively, the Mi Sedap Anak Indo (S$13) and Bakso Komplit (S$13) are much safer alternatives if you prefer noodles instead. 

Moving on to the sides, we were lucky to get the last plate of Tahu Sumedang (S$8 for 4pcs) while the Tempe Mendoan (S$8 for 6pcs) was unavailable during our visit. First thing we noticed was how crisp it appeared—when we took our first bite, we were excited by the contrasting texture—crispy on the outside, soft and comforting on the inside.

Dipping it in the Sambal Merah gave a similar addictive feeling to the crackers we had previously. Safe to say, we devoured the Tahu Sumedang quickly and understood why it was easily sold out even before dinnertime. 

Our verdict? Although the restaurant launched in 2024 and had a change in management, the essence of the eatery remains the same. From the nostalgic interior to the comforting, familiar foods, we would definitely visit Waroeng Anak Indo again when we get the chance.

Go give it a try, especially since the restaurant is a walk away from Gemilang Kampong Gelam Ramadan Bazaar.

Each piece features a lacey pastel coloured top with songket fabric skirts, giving the entire catalogue a whimsical yet grounded look.

2. Hanya Ada Baju

Next on the list is Hanya Ada Baju, another local brand raved about by many. In their most recent update on Instagram, they rolled out an interesting concept in their 2026 baju raya catalogue. Inspired by the Chinese New Year and Ramada overlap, they infused elements of the cheongsam into the modern, simple baju kurung. To our pleasant surprise, the series’s overall look is adorable and appeals especially to Chinese Muslims.

Similarly, prices are not yet available online as the official launch is set for 6 March 2026. Alternatively, drop by their booth at Absolut Singapore 2026—happening from 4 March 2026 to 6 March 2026 at EXPO Hall 4—to get the first look at this series.

This one’s for our plus-sized ladies! Orange Cat is a local brand that prides themselves on comfort and everyday wear. One of their key designs focuses on different variations of gingham, known as checkered patterns.

Although Kasih Kaswi (S$110), the main highlight, has officially sold out, pieces like the Culottes (S$45) and Wrap embroidered skirt (S$25) are still in stock, so be sure to get your hands on them asap.

The concept of the store is no different from your usual brunch spots, as it features a delightful array of pastries, sandwiches, mains, and drinks. We understand the menu might be overwhelming, so here’s our attempt at shortlisting the best-sellers you must try. 

Starting our recommendations with the pastries, it’s hard to pinpoint a favourite as they’re all equally good in our eyes—croissants, pies, tarts, soft breads, and more to name. Although if you’re feeling adventurous, try the K-Lava Tteokbokki Pastry Tart (S$6.40), which launched on 19 February 2026 as their seasonal item. As it is available for a limited time, be sure to try before it’s gone.

Not much of a sweet tooth? As of mid-2025, Paris Baguette has officially rolled out its dine-in menu at the ION Orchard outlet. The menu features sandwiches that will surely blow your mind away, where one of the key items that we thoroughly enjoyed is the  Creamy Avocado Egg Toast (S$21)—featuring rustic multiseed bread, which has probiotics and supports gut health. Pairing that with whole grains and seeds for fibre, you’ll be guaranteed to leave the store fully satisfied. 

For something more sinful, opt for the Royale PB Breakfast (S$26.50), consisting of smoked salmon, roasted cherry tomatoes, scrambled egg, cream cheese spread, the classic baguette bread, and more. The entire meal screams indulgence at its finest. 

Next, try the Signature Royale Pudding (S$5.50), made entirely of soft, rich milk-flavoured pudding and packaged in an adorable glass bottle. The best part about the bottle is that it’s completely reusable, which you can repurpose into a water bottle or home decor. If you’re looking to purchase them in a bundle, Paris Baguette also offers its pudding in a box of six for S$33.  Other than the puddings, the Fresh Yoghurt Cream Cake (S$58) is another favourite of ours. Imagine a soft sponge cake layered with strawberries and yoghurt cream, topped with assorted fruits to complete a serene yet tempting dessert.

End your experience by ordering a cup of coffee or tea of your liking, with prices ranging from S$5.90 to S$7.90. Regardless of whether you enjoy pastries, brunch mains or a simple sweet treat, Paris Baguette is packed with endless options. Bring your family and friends for a visit, or order a cake as the main attraction for your stay-at-home iftar session.

The restaurant is best known for its free-flow fresh seafood, snacks, and desserts. This season, however, the menu stands out with a special collaboration featuring guest chef Chef Wisnu, from Uluwatu, Bali, Indonesia.

With over 40 Balinese specialities on rotation, don’t miss the Bebek Betutu (Slow Roasted Duck with Balinese Basa Genep wrapped in Banana Leaves). Its chewy texture and rich Balinese seasoning instantly left us astonished.

Not a fan of duck meat? Try the Be Siap Basa Guling (Spit-Roasted Golden Chicken marinated with Traditional Balinese Spice Paste), crisp on the outside and tender with every bite. Pair it with Butterfly Blue Pea rice, and you’ll feel transported to a beachside villa getaway. 

Red meat lovers should not miss the Kambing Panggang Sambal Goreng (Slow Roasted Lamb with Spicy Shallot and Tomato Jam), the standout highlight of the buffet spread. The meat is tender and soft, pairing especially well with the spicy shallot over the tomato jam, in our opinion.

To elevate the experience, coat your meats and rice with a dose of Be Pasih Santen Kecombrang, a seafood stew made with prawns and clams. For our Muslim readers, the flavour resembles the classic Lemak Chilli Padi, blending creamy coconut milk with comforting spices. 

The Enak Sekali Balinese Feast runs from 19 February 2026 to 5 April 2026, featuring a limited-time 1-for-1 Balinese lunch buffet—so you can enjoy a full spread at half the price, paying just S$60++ for two diners instead of one!

One of their must-try specialities is the Nasi Ambeng, starting at S$18.50 per pax. This indulgent platter features Beef Rendang, Sambal Squid, Chicken in Spicy Coconut Gravy, Sambal Belacan, and so much more.

We end our list with a personal favourite, Waroeng Anak Indo. Operating since 2024, this cosy eatery draws inspiration from 1960s Indonesian culture, with vintage posters, wooden furniture and old-school Indo songs setting the mood. 

The menu features Indonesian staples like Mie Goreng, Mie Bakso, and the standout Nasi Goreng Ayam Penyet. Prices are yet to be confirmed following a change in management, but the experience promises to be worth every cent.
