The trading card game (TCG) community in Singapore has steadily grown, with Singaporeans eagerly collecting Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering (MTG) cards. Despite having multiple Hideout spots for collectors and players, there’s also a new addition that recently joined the mix.
Lo and behold, the newest Card Arena by MyRepublic store — the home to various TCG series such as One Piece, Union Arena, Weiss Schwarz, and more.

The store outlet can be found within Suntec City & Convention Centre, beside Penang Place, Prism+, and many noteworthy brands. Unlike the Hideout outlets, Card Arena is massively huge, with different areas dedicated to every TCG player.
Upon entering the store, you’ll be greeted by the sight of numerous TCG cards up for grabs. If you’re already armed with your own customised deck and are raring to engage in battle, head down to the playing area. The space hosts weekly matches and monthly tournaments where you’d get the chance to walk away with attractive prizes.

In the most recent tournament, which occurred on 3 January 2026, players competed in Magic: The Gathering – Universes Beyond: CHAOS Sealed. Players got to compete against each other, and winners brought home a COCO Trophy, Final Fantasy Scene Box or a random foil promotional card.
If there are any upcoming tournaments that you’re eager to join, do take note of the tournament entry fees. Based on the most recent tournament, each player was required to pay S$60 for six booster packs. However, a similar tournament which took place in December 2025, had its entry fee priced at S$15 per player. Regardless of whether you’re a seasoned player or someone curious about the game, there’s something for everyone in the space itself.

There is also a dedicated section for card scanners — these kiosks help players and collectors to check the market value of their cards without manual research. You may think that the card scanner is only useful when it comes to Pokémon cards, but it can also gauge the market value for One Piece, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), and more.
Speaking of the market value of card series, are you planning to sell your cards but aren’t sure how to go about it? Fret not, as Card Arena offers consignment arrangements — this means that you’d get to skip the hassle of reaching for buyers on other third-party sites like Carousell, Facebook Marketplace, and more. All you need to do is fill out the consignment form and discuss with the staff on the ground.

Currently, the store opens from 11am to 10pm daily, and in the meantime, this is the only store outlet in Singapore. Now that you know the ins and outs of what Card Arena has to offer, this is your sign to be armed with your Commander Deck or Pokémon collection, battle it out or trade your cards with other fellow fans.
