It’s been slightly over two weeks since PetExpo Fiesta happened, and just like the weather, we’ve been feeling down from the lack of adorable, furry friends.
With that in mind, I’ve gotten my colleagues to take this Cat Personality quiz I found, which helped us get to know each other better.
Nicole

Alexis: She’s giving Ragdoll Cat, which is associated with the MBTI personality type ISFJ.
It makes sense because she’s imaginative and very creative. She’s also not full of energy and gets exhausted every day. When the situation calls for it, she can be sociable, but she prefers to be left alone to daydream or do her own thing.
Angela: She’s giving me a Norwegian Forest cat or a British Shorthair cat. Same as Alexis, I think Nicole is a deeply creative person who shows her affection quietly.
Answer: Wrong! Nicole is classified as a Norwegian Forest Cat, with the MBTI type of INFP.
Ash

Alexis: I’m not sure what the cat breed is, but he’s giving orange cat behaviour with his unhinged comments at work.
Jae: Does Garfield count as a cat type? If Garfield were a real human being, he would be Ash! His sense of humour, theatrics and behaviour in the office always made us burst into laughter.
Answer: Sadly, the Editorial team’s guess was wrong, as Ash is actually a Bengal Cat, which has the MBTI of ESFP.
Selina

Ash: Selina is giving a Chinchilla Cat vibe because the cat looks very innocent, which reminds me of Selina. Her demure and mild nature makes her resonate the most with the Chinchilla Cat.
The other cats just do not exhibit the same energy as the Chinchilla Cat does for Selina. Prove me wrong!
Jae: Knowing Selina these past few months, I’m going to bet that she’s a Siamese cat. They’re both highly affectionate, intelligent, and vocal—yet the Siamese cats that I’ve encountered are shy around me. Just like the cat, Selina was shy around me, but once she’s comfortable with you, she’s super vocal!
Answer: Unfortunately, Selina isn’t a Chinchilla or Siamese cat—she’s a Norwegian Forest Cat, with the MBTI type of INFP.
Rad

Angela: Rad is definitely a Siamese or Russian Blue cat, because my first impression of him is mysterious and suave. Unlike Ash, Rad is exhibiting cool cat energy that’s a common trait associated with Siamese or Russian Blue cats.
Yan: He looks like a Bengal cat that likes to roam around and only comes home past midnight. He also looks as curious as any Bengal cats I’ve encountered—nothing exotic, just your regular boy cat-next-door vibes.
Answer: While Angela and Yan made good guesses, surprisingly, the guesses were incorrect. Similar to Nicole and Selina, Rad is also a Norwegian Forest Cat, with the MBTI type of INFP.
Jae

Nicole: I bet that Jae is a Russian Blue cat—on the outside, Jae is nice and mysterious. The moment you get to know her personally, and she warms up to you, she’s just a silly kitty.
Rad: Tabby cat. I’m not going to elaborate, because I know I’m right.
Ash: I’m with Nicole on this, because Jae is definitely a Russian Blue cat. Both Jae and a Russian Blue cat look wise—Jae is skilful in delivering oracle card readings, which I associate with magic. She’s also like the office mother hen, taking care of everyone’s well-being and asking if we’re okay. All these actions make her a Russian Blue Cat.
Answer: To Rad’s dismay, Jae isn’t a Tabby cat, or any of the guesses above. Instead, she happens to be a Chinchilla Cat, with the MBTI type of ESTP.
