One of Singapore’s iconic landmarks — Jewel Changi Airport — is joining in on the National Day celebrations. There will be showcases, rewards, and even a food journey — all found under one roof at the mall. 

For instance, every night from 1 August 2026 to 31 August 2026, a National Day Light & Music Showcase will take place at the famous Jewel Rain Vortex. The show will feature mesmerising light projections and the National Day classic, Home. 

Jewel Changi Airport and Baba Nyonya Restaurant will also present A Taste & Touch of Peranakan Heritage at Jewel from 1 August 2026 to 31 December 2026. Go on a truly Peranakan experience with a Nyonya food-sampling platter, bookmark-making, and traditional Peranakan attire.

National Day Celebrations at the National Museum of Singapore 

Want to appreciate more of our local arts? There will be numerous programmes taking place at the National Museum of Singapore on National Day, too. On 9 August 2026, you can visit the museum to experience interactive storytelling, workshops, live performances, a photography showcase by migrant workers, and more.

This is meant to be a full day of celebrations, culminating in live performances by local acts and a free live telecast of the NDP at the end of the day. The screening will be held on the Museum’s Front Lawn, allowing you to catch the parade under the stars.

Throughout the day, visitors can also enjoy free activities, including the SG: Decoded treasure hunt, keycap keychain making, and The Snapshot Corner photobooth. Entry to all galleries will also be free.

Bak Chor Mee and Dim Sum — can this combination really work? Tim Ho Wan says yes. From 21 July 2026 to 31 August 2026, all Tim Ho Wan outlets islandwide will be serving a limited-time Flavours of Singapore menu.

These new dishes are inspired by Singapore’s rich food culture and local favourites, while staying true to Tim Ho Wan’s signature flair. A perfect example of this is the new Bak Chor Rice Rolls (S$9.50), showcasing Hong Kong Dim Sum with a Singaporean twist.

Other items on the National Day-themed menu are Laksa Seafood Dumplings (S$7.90 for 3pcs), ‘Orh Nee’ Salted Egg Sesame Ball (S$7.50 for 3pcs), and XO Fried Rice with Bacon & Luncheon Meat (S$13.90). Just reading this is making us crave for Dim Sum.

Located right outside Exit 1 of Gardens by the Bay MRT Station, The F1 Exhibition is located in a new gigantic structure we can only describe as “cool-looking tents”. These tents would give you a sense of the scale of this exhibition.

Once you’re inside, you will be able to explore seven immersive rooms and zones, covering different aspects of F1. The first that stood out to us was Once Upon A Time In Formula 1, a gallery with displays, cars, and artefacts that will take you from the past to the present of the motorsport. 

Get ready your cameras to snap many photos. Also, if you’re someone who loves to read about the ‘lore’ behind everything, this exhibition will be right up your alley. Almost every display and corner has interesting descriptions, facts, and footnotes for you to learn about how F1 developed into its current form.

For fans of the F1 movie, there is also one surprise waiting for you here. We will not spoil it for you, so keep your eyes peeled!

Two other rooms — Revolution By Design and Design Lab — take you into the inner workings of the F1 car, allowing you to dive deeper into each part. There are even interactive screens that let you take a closer look at steering wheels and how they have evolved.

In fact, these interactive screens are placed throughout the entire exhibition, letting you zoom in on specific cars and parts that you would otherwise never have the opportunity to.

One thing the exhibition does really well is utilising both digital and physical elements to immerse visitors in the world of F1. From actual tyres to engine parts to the iconic Red Bull RB7, you will have plenty to see and appreciate, especially if you are a fan.

After the cars, if you want to get closer to the drivers, you can too. You might not see Max Verstappen or Lewis Hamilton in person, but you can see the equipment that top drivers like them use on race days. 

If you want to know more about some of your favourite drivers’ backgrounds, you might just find some tidbits here and there too. Spare some time for the Drivers & Duels room and get up close and personal with drivers’ helmets, suits, and more. 

You can also activate your imagination and see yourself as a Formula 1 driver on an interactive screen. The onscreen avatar even responds to your movements, so come ready with your very own winning pose. Want to do something with a bit more creativity? Look for another interactive corner where you can design your own driver’s helmet!

The F1 Exhibition also has a zone exclusive to this Singapore edition. Singapore Drive takes you through the most significant moments and personalities in the history of the Singapore Grand Prix, from the first night race in 2008 to the latest.

Before you leave the exhibition, you can also drop by a dedicated merchandise store to purchase some souvenirs. Accessories, apparel, books, posters, and more — there’s a gift for every kind of F1 fan.

Last but not least, if you have minutes and dollars to spare, you should try out the Fastest Lap Simulator Experience. This was easily our favourite part of the entire exhibition, simply because you can get into the cockpit and feel what it’s like to race around the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

The graphics are realistic, and the controls are intuitive. If you have a need for speed, this is for you. Visitors with The F1 Exhibition: Pole Position (S$111) premium tickets will automatically have access to the Simulator Experience.

Lumphini Park

Want to get closer to nature and the outdoors? Visit Bangkok’s first public park — Lumphini Park. Located near the central business district of Bangkok, this park feels like an oasis where you can slow down, take in some fresh air, and appreciate the city skyline while taking a stroll.

At the same time, the park is home to numerous sights and activities. You can go for a morning run, exercise with some upbeat music in the background, or explore the library in the park. Just make sure to watch your steps as you might run into a monitor lizard or two!

One popular activity at Lumphini Park, however, would have to be renting a Swan Paddle Boat or rowing boat and having a short trip out on the lake. Definitely try this if you want a different park experience.

The Adoptable Puppy Cafe

If you’d like to do something a little more wholesome during your trip to Bangkok, consider attending one of the pop-up events by The Adoptable Puppy Cafe. This social enterprise and dog rescue initiative has helped more than 800 dogs find their forever homes since its start in 2019. 

Their events are usually held at cafes and venues around Bangkok, where you can spend a few hours enjoying some coffee or a meal, and meet adorable dogs at the same time. More than just playing with these pups, all of them will also be up for free adoption.

While only local adoptions are accepted, entry to these events is free, and donations are welcome. So, if you’d like to do something meaningful and support a cause during your trip, keep an eye out for The Adoptable Puppy Cafe’s events. They might just be hosting an event during your vacation to Bangkok.

Rajadamnern Muay Thai Stadium

Line-up of Special Guest Creators

Creators Super Fest Singapore 2026 proudly welcomes four special guests who will bring unique creative energy to the event. The first wave of guests includes:

1. Kohana Lam

She began her career mainly on YouTube. Her cover videos, known for “while crying” and “with a lot of emotion” style, quickly gained attention, and her YouTube channel has now surpassed 680,000 subscribers. Her representative cover video, “Kokoronashi,” has exceeded 15 million views and continues to receive strong support from listeners both in Japan and around the world. She has performed ending themes for TV anime series such as The Dangers in My Heart and My Friend’s Little Sister Has It In for Me!. With her delicate yet emotionally powerful vocals, Kohana Lam is gaining attention as a next-generation singer not only in Japan, but also across Asia, Europe, and North America.

2. Rie fu

Rie fu is a Japanese singer-songwriter, painter, and translator whose music has connected with audiences around the world through anime, film, and television. She is best known for performing the anime theme songs “Life is Like a Boat” from Bleach and “Tsukiakari” from Darker than Black, which introduced her music to fans across Asia and beyond. Originally studying Fine Art at London’s Central Saint Martins, Rie developed a distinctive artistic style that combines music and visual art. Her self-painted artwork accompanies many of her releases, reflecting her multidisciplinary creative practice. Having performed across Japan, Singapore, China, and the UK, Rie creates music that blends Japanese and Western influences, often performing in both Japanese and English. After relocating to Singapore in 2025, she continues to pursue music, painting, and cross-cultural creative projects.

3. Yomii

Yomii is a Japanese pianist, composer, and digital creator renowned for his highly expressive performances. Blending classical technique with influences from anime, video games, and pop music, he brings a distinctive and modern voice to the piano. With a background in rhythm gaming, he is celebrated for his exceptional precision and musical timing. His performances and compositions on YouTube have amassed over 700 million views, earning him a strong global following. Known for transforming familiar game and anime themes into powerful, emotionally engaging piano interpretations, Yomii bridges traditional artistry with digital entertainment, continuing to captivate audiences across the world.

4. lack 

Active across a wide range of fields as a freelance illustrator, lack is known for trading card game (TCG) illustrations and character design for popular games such as Fate/Grand Order and Touken Ranbu ONLINE. Their notable character design work also includes VTubers Shiranui Flare, Makaino Ririmu, Lain Paterson, and Aruran. Their published books include artbooks: lack Art Collection: Palette and lack Art Collection 2: RPG (both published by Hobby Japan), FRAME: lack Art Collection & Hyper-Speed Illustration Techniques (Genkosha), and Secrets of Rough Sketches Thoroughly Taught by lack (SB Creative). lack has also created a new version of Seika, the official mascot, exclusively for #CSF26.

The experience transforms IMBA Theatre’s gallery into a surreal, immersive universe centred around a giant inflatable juju, a sea of yellow balls shaped in juju, soft sculptural forms, and playful environments that blur the boundaries between art, imagination, and physical experience.

This is the first juju experience in yellow — a bold visual statement and a new colourway for the series. Presented exclusively in Singapore from 20 June 2026 to 18 July 2026, juju world marks the first and only time the experience will appear in yellow anywhere in the world. juju world will also be featuring a larger-than-life juju installation, lying right at the corner of the ball pit. You will get to step into the whimsical world of this well-loved character, so get ready with your phones and snap as many photos as you can!

Playful and visually arresting, the experience extends Hendry’s signature approach, transforming the everyday into surreal environments. Taking up a large portion of the space is a large inflatable slide that promises you fun. 

Together, Flower Market and juju world represent the most ambitious presentation of Hendry’s works in Southeast Asia to date.

Do note that the juju world is a sock-foot experience. Footwear is not permitted inside the installation so please wear clean socks or purchase a pair on-site if required.

After exploring the inflatable world, visitors can browse an exclusive collection of juju merchandise created specially for the Singapore run. Purchase limits may apply to selected products.

Tickets for this exhibition, which many F1 fans are excited about, have just gone on sale to the general public. If you’re a fan, chances are you’ve already heard about this (and have already purchased pre-sale tickets). But if you’re more on the fence, or still wondering what to expect at this exhibition, we’ve got you covered.

Journey through the world of F1

The main thing to look forward to at The F1 Exhibition is exploring seven immersive rooms, engineered to bring you into the history and action of the sport. One room explores the past, present, and future of F1, with rare artefacts of yesteryear and glimpses of where the sport is heading today and tomorrow.

Other rooms are filled with displays of cars and parts, as well as drivers’ suits and equipment. You will come out of these rooms with a deeper understanding and appreciation of the inner workings of F1. 

You will also get a closer look at innovative technologies, car designs and champions from teams such as Red Bull Racing, McLaren, Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team, Scuderia Ferrari, and more. And of course, you will leave with many photos taken, for sure.

A uniquely Singapore experience

Another room, Singapore Drive, is exclusive to the Singapore edition of The F1 Exhibition, and will showcase and honour our nation’s decorated history in F1. Even as one of the iconic locations featured on the yearly F1 calendar, Singapore has made contributions to motorsport beyond just hosting an annual F1 Grand Prix race since 2008. You will learn more about that here.

There will also be The Fastest Lap racing simulators that will give you a chance to experience what it’s like to drive an F1 car around the Marina Bay Street Circuit. If it hasn’t hit you yet, this exhibition is filled with innovation, immersion, and interaction.
