The Asian Civilisations Museum has just announced their newest exhibition, not with artifacts but with CHAGEE!

The Asian Civilisations Museum has brought a new exhibition in Singapore, and this time together with our favourite tea brand—CHAGEE. In the upcoming show, Garden of Senses: A Tea Reverie, is an immersive showcase that explores tea as an evolving ritual of love shaped by centuries of craftsmanship, stories, and practices.

From 28 January 2026 to 7 June 2026, Garden of Senses: A Tea Reverie invites you to re-experience tea beyond surface taste or smell. A multi-sensory journey to reveal how tea drinking reflects human life, take the chance to learn about how tea has transcended cultures and time.

Blending the institution’s historic museum collections with a modern showcase, this event acts as a strong example of ideating partnerships between local attractions and international brands in unconventional ways, and produce innovative experiences.

A Curated Journey Through the Art of Tea

Through this show, the Asian Civilisations Museum will blend its historic collections with modern interpretations from local creatives, Ashley Yeo and Alecia Neo

Across the exhibition, visitors will encounter sculptural installations inspired by tea leaves, immersive soundscapes, fragrance-led experiences, and tactile explorations of tea-making tools. Among these installations, Ashley Yeo presents a quiet and atmospheric work: shade of tea that resembles light tea leaves in floating paper forms.

Alecia Neo on the other hand, prepares Symphony of Tea, produced with a team of composers, videographers, and sound engineers. Inspired by ASMR videos, Symphony of Tea will act as a symphonic experience of tea through sound, rhythm, gesture and human connection.

Additionally, 3D-printed replicas of historic tea wares, CHAGEE cups, and nature-inspired communal spaces invite its visitors to connect over their main subject—a cup of tea.

Exclusive Pop-up Experience by the Singapore River

Garden of Senses: A Tea Reverie will also be further extended through a CHAGEE pop-up along the Singapore River and will offer a full selection of beverages, as well as merchandise previously exclusive to China.

This pop-up will also feature the exclusive launch of two specially designed brand plush charms, comprising a light brown and limited-edition light blue plush charm

Both charms combine a horse—paying homage to when tea was traded across borders via horseback — with Singapore’s iconic Merlion, celebrating Singapore’s cultural identity.
