Bangkok, the land of tom yum soup, MAMA noodles, and most importantly shopping — we all love copping a good bargain at places like Platinum Mall, Banguse Junction, Jodd Fairs and Chatuchak market. There’s a new trendy shopping mall in Bangkok that all shoppers must add to their list of shopping places.
EMSPHERE is located along the Phrom Phong district, and is the cooler younger of Emporium and EMQurtier — kinda like the Gen Z of the EM Duo family. The six-storey shopping complex is home to over 1,000 brands and you can shop for literally anything here from clothes, to furniture, to even luxury cars — yes you read that right.
Unlike its boujee older sisters Emporium and EMQuartier — which focuses more on luxury goods and high fashion — EMSPHERE caters to younger shoppers and you’ll be able to find trendier items here that will not burn too big of a hole in your wallets (depending on what and how much you buy, of course.)
Fans of the super popular Thai brand GENTLEWOMAN will be thrilled to know that they’ve opened an outlet here in EMSPHERE. No more fighting your way through the crowd at their flagship store in Siam Square.
Other popular stores include Birkenstock, Dr. Martens, Adidas, Foot Locker, Levi’s, CASETiFY, New Balance, as well as IKEA. If you’re looking to cop some quirky Y2K apparel and accessories, you must check out Daddy and the Muscle Academy (which, contrary to its name suggests, is not a gym).
There’s also a massive Watsons here for you to stock up on your favourite beauty and healthcare products. Those looking to shop for skincare and beauty products definitely won’t be leaving here empty handed as there’s plenty of beauty brands here like Chanel Beauty, Le Labo, SKINLAB, NARS, YSL, Dior Beauty, and so much more.
Unlike most malls, EMSPHERE has a couple of automobile dealerships located in the mall as well like Hyundai, Volvo as well as luxury and sports car brands like Rolls Royce, Lotus, Lamborghini, and Land Rover. These probably aren’t on your shopping list, but hey, it’s always nice to check them out.
Food-wise, there’s also plenty of options here. From fancy names like Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay, About Toast by Wabi’s, FATBRO, Shake Shack and more. The iconic Cha Tra Mue will also be there (of course) for you to satisfy your Thai milk tea cravings.
Getting to EMSPHERE is pretty simple. All you gotta do is to take the BTS to Phrom Phong station — the same station as EMQuartier and EMPORIUM.
Then, just follow the signs (or the red carpet) which would lead you right to the mall. It’s not often that you get to walk a red carpet this long, so make sure to enjoy it while it lasts!
Are you ready to shop till you drop?
