Already thinking about your next holiday destination? A trip to Japan is always a good idea, and here’s your chance to score a free trip to Japan to explore areas like Hokkaido, Hiroshima, San’In and more!
The Japan National Tourism Organisation’s Singapore Office and Japan by Japan is giving away three fully sponsored tours. The tours are part of an upcoming Japan travel series to create promotional videos for Japan. This means one of the prerequisites will be that your entire trip will be filmed — but for an all expenses paid trip, why not?
Air tickets, accommodation, transport, and food will be fully covered for this trip, so you’ll only need to pay for your shopping. The theme of the trip is celebrating a loved one’s birthday in Japan, and you’ll need to design an itinerary around this theme.
The first tour is to Hokkaido and is meant for a family of up to four with a maximum of two children aged 11 and above. The tour will take place from 3 to 8 September 2023, and you will get to explore areas like Kushiro, and Sapporo.
The second tour is to Hiroshima and San’in and will be held in November 2023. This tour is specially catered for couples (two pax) — and yes, you and your bestie can still apply for this even if you are not lovers. Some of the expected areas you’ll get to visit include Izumo, Onomichi, and Fukuyama. Details for the third tour have not been announced at the time of writing, but we hear that you might get to explore Kyushu.
Here’s where you come in. In order for you to stand a chance to win one of these free tours, you’ll first need to create an introductory video not longer than three minutes telling JbyJ why they should sponsor you and your loved one(s) to Japan to celebrate your special occasion — make sure you use all your creative juices to wow them. You’ll also need to complete the online application form which can be found here. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
If you are selected, you’ll get to work with the representatives from JbyJ to create an itinerary that includes the places you and your travel companions would like to visit, as well as the things you want to do — here’s your chance to go all out and tick off places on your bucket list.
