Well, you’ll get Rookies & HAUS Concept Store. The cafe HAUS COFFEE is combined with vintage clothing thrift store ROOKIES STORE to offer the best of both worlds.
Located at Beach Road, the cafe is quite literally a hidden gem as it’s tucked into a corner of Golden Mile Tower. On the outside, one may assume it to be a simple vintage clothing store, but walk in and you’ll find yourself in a cosy and retro-looking cafe.
HAUS COFFEE doesn’t just serve your average cup of joe. Of course, the cafe also offers classics like their 1980’s Affogato (S$12) and Iced Americano (S$5.50).
Their signature brew, the Ethiopia Samii Banko Giotto, is used in their coffees which has a bright, acidic profile.
The cafe also has a fine selection of teas to choose from. These include the ever-favourite Hojicha Latte (S$8) and Pomegranate Oolong (S$5).
However, if you’re feeling a little more adventurous, sip on the latest trends with HAUS COFFEE’s fresh brews.
The trendy Iced Strawberry Matcha (S$8) is one of the crowd’s favourite.
The star of the show is definitely the Banana Pudding Matcha (S$9.50). Inspired by a New York bakery’s famous banana pudding, this particular drink has been going viral.
The drink consists of a layer of vanilla pudding, bananas, and Biscoff bits on top of matcha latte.
And, if you can’t get enough of Banana Pudding Matcha, you can also sample their rendition, Just Banana Pudding (S$6), too. However, do note that it’s a seasonal menu item and sells out quickly daily.
