With plenty of carnivals to see this December, from the highly-anticipated Christmas Wonderland to the Great Bay Fiesta, here’s one for the westies – Jurong Play Grounds. Although the recreational space officially opens on 3 December 2022, the fun will continue with Uncle Ringo carnivals every weekend, alongside an array of pet-friendly activities.
You can expect an afternoon of fun for the whole family, even the furry ones, with Wag and Wild, Asia’s largest dog park, with 19,000 square feet of space, and a bunch of pools to splash in. You can even get into the pool with your fur kids to beat the heat! After your doggos have had plenty of fun in the pool, let them loose on the dog run, where they’ll get to play in a large open space and meet other furry friends.
There’s also an indoor swim school for the kids to try out learning to swim, with a heated pool so they can splash around in comfort. You’ll have to sign up for lessons in advance if you want to drop the kids off here.
With over 40 booths and food trucks, and live performances to enjoy, the Weekender’s Market is a treat for the whole family. Dig into juicy burgers by Goodburger, alongside other local and international snacks. The market itself sells a range of pet accessories, sustainable products, and handcrafted items perfect for any occasion.
The Weekenders’ Market will take place from 3 to 4 December 2022 to celebrate the launch of Jurong Play Grounds, and will be held monthly on the following dates:
- 13 – 14 Jan 2023
- 11 – 12 Feb 2023
- 11- 12 Mar 2023
Last but not least, end off your day at the Uncle Ringo carnival, with a Ferris wheel, bumper cars, and game booths where you can win adorable plushies and prizes. There’ll even be a dinosaur zone with animatronic dinosaurs!
What’s more, there’s even a plant nursery where you can purchase potted plants to spruce up your house and admire the many plants on offer.
