Chuck your bagels out and head down to Marlow’s Deli to indulge in Focaccia bread deli sandwiches, Cloud Foam drinks, and more

When it comes to sandwiches, everyone’s been raving about Park Bench Deli’s return this week. Another hit that’s recently caused a storm is the viral 7 Eleven Bangkok toasties that landed in Singapore

Keeping up with the sandwich hype, we’ve found a Halal-certified deli serving sandwiches packed with overflowing ingredients — Marlow’s Deli.

Formally known as Wooly’s Bagels, they’ve since undergone a rebrand and retained two outlets at Joo Chiat and Rangoon Road. Now, they’ve swapped out chewy bagels for fluffy focaccia bread packed with an assortment of ingredients, along with cloud foam beverages and sides for sharing. While bagel fans may be heartbroken by the change, we believe this switch elevates the experience that Marlow’s Deli aims to deliver.

If you’re a picky eater, not to worry! Marlow’s Deli does a good job of ensuring there is something for everyone. For our beef fans, try the Salt Beef Sanga (S$15.90), made with slow-cooked salt beef, melted cheese, mustard aioli, and mesclun. What carries the Salt Beef Sanga is the beef’s complementary tenderness, juiciness, and saltiness

Prefer chicken instead? Opt for the Cluckin’ Good (S$15), consisting of crunchy, thick breaded chicken coated in sweet onion sauce and crunchier raw onions. Surprisingly, onions and chickens make a great pair, with added crunch from the patty and onions. It’ll leave you satisfied and craving for another!

Next up is the vegetarian option that has everyone on their knees — Plant Daddy (S$15.90) is reserved for the burrata and pesto fans, as the sandwich is chock-full of it! The burrata and pesto are made from scratch and guaranteed to be fresh enough to linger on your taste buds.

The best thing on the menu, Ocean Melt (S$15.90), is for seafood fans to indulge in — imagine taking a bite into a golden breaded pollock fillet with melted cheese, housemade tartar sauce, and mesclun. If you’re feeling fancy, opt for the caviar top-up at just S$5. In our opinion, the Ocean Melt with the caviar makes it the most luxe option on the menu, balancing classic and extravagance.

Among their Cloud Foam series drinks, we’d recommend trying the Strawberry Matcha Foam (S$7.90) or the Iced Chocolate Foam (S$7.50). Alternatively, they also serve lemonades, coffee, and other beverages that can serve as palate cleansers
