New year, new vibes. It’s that magical time of the year again when we say out with the old, in with the new! The new year isn’t just a time for celebrations but also a time to reflect and set goals that (hopefully) last beyond January. I’m determined to keep up with my resolutions (as well as have a hot girl glow-up) this year and if you’re looking for inspiration, you might wanna check mine out.
1. Reading more with Kobo
Ah, reading.
My yearly resolution that always fizzles out by mid-March. I swear, 2025 will be the year I finally transform into a literary it girl (I’m taking bets on how long admin will last). I’ve finally figured out the issue: carrying a paperback around is not conducive to my reading habits. And if I use my phone, I end up scrolling through social media instead.
To combat this, I’ve decided to invest in an e-reader.
I’ve got my eyes on the Kobo Libra Colour, the perfect reading companion with a colourful twist. With a three-colour display, this helps to bring your stories to life with more vibrant book covers, illustrations, and annotations.
And for those of us concerned about exposure to blue light, the ComfortLight Pro feature has got you covered. There’s even waterproof durability and extended battery life, so it’s perfect for poolside lounging or even long flights.
Furthermore, the Kobo Libra Colour has a seven-inch display which makes reading and annotating a breeze. I’m already daydreaming about cosy reading sessions with books like Atomic Habits, Meditations for Mortals, and Feel-Good Productivity, starting from as low as S$1.43.
Will you be looking to get one for yourself?

2. Find my personal colour with code.d
Who knew colour theory wasn’t just for art classes? As a former art student, I’ve spent hours obsessing over complementary hues and undertones but it has never clicked to apply all that knowledge to myself. In 2025, I’m stepping up my game with code.d to learn more about the importance of colour theory.
Here’s a quick breakdown. Experts analyse the colouring and undertones of your eyes, hair, and skin tones. This is then split into four simple colour palettes: winter, spring, autumn, and summer.
code.d combines cutting-edge technology from Korea and insights from the Western Colour System to precisely analyse your skin. Their database of over ten thousand skin tones means your recommendations are tailored to you.
Here’s the kick. Exclusively for our ConfirmGood readers, get 5% off any service if you quote <CONFIRMGOOD5> when you book your slots online or manually until 31 January 2025. Do note that slots open one month in advance.
No more needing to play guess and check with makeup and outfits. Who’s ready to shine in their personal colour with code.d?

3. Get in shape with M.A.D Collection
Let’s be honest, staying fit is way easier said than done. However, 2025 is the year I am prioritising my health, and staying active is one of my milestones — I have made up my mind to keep up with my gym regime and dive into the world of aerial exercises.
Instead of just sticking to the usual treadmill grind, I want to try out aerial exercises which would add a dash of excitement to my usual routines. Benefits include full-body workouts targeting flexibility, core strength, and upper and lower body stability.
This is also perfect for desk warriors (corporate life keeps admin glued to her chair), helping to relieve back pain, spinal compression, and the aches caused by sitting for hours on end. And honestly, it just looks fun.
Singapore’s premier pole dance and aerial studio, M.A.D, offers an amazing lineup of classes from pole dancing, and hammock dance to more. And, if you’re a total noob (admin is in this together with you), they have beginner-friendly sessions to advanced levels. There’s definitely something for everyone here.
And exclusively for our ConfirmGood readers, receive a 20% discount on trial classes on pole, hammock, lyra, chair, and stretch when you use the code <CONFIRMGOOD20> while booking online. Do note that this is only valid for January 2025.

5. Exploring Singapore
I’m a notoriously proud home protector (admin has low social energy and no social life).
However, in the coming year, I am focusing on small changes to change up my lifestyle. This means I am going to aim to leave my house every week — whether it be dinner plans, exploration, or just simply just a weekend adventure.
With so many exciting places opening next year (and a plethora of places I haven’t checked out), this resolution seems like the perfect push for me to get out of my little bubble.
I’m eyeing the Rainforest Wild Asia which is targeted to open soon, full of thrill-seeking activities that are up my alley. Or, if you’re looking for something more chill, check out our list of family-friendly activities here.
Will you be adding any of my 2025 New Year resolutions to your bucket list?
