Fish fans, ocean nerds, and anyone who’s ever found themselves hypnotised by a jellyfish tank, get ready! The long-awaited return of Resorts World Sentosa’s Singapore Oceanarium is here, and it’s fin-tastic.

The oceanarium officially opened its doors to the public on 24 July 2025, so pack your sense of wonder and bring your best camera to capture the occasion.

This isn’t just a facelift. It’s a full-blown marine revamp.

The all-new Singapore Oceanarium promises a world-class experience where storytelling, science, and sea creatures come together to wow, educate, and gently guilt you into using less plastic.

To celebrate the grand reopening, there’ll be a whole season of festivities featuring local sea-lebrities. Expect hands-on workshops, interactive installations, and showcases that’ll have you rethinking your relationship with the big blue.

One must-sea stop is the Living Oceans Exhibition, a collaboration between NUS and the Sentosa Development Corporation. It features gorgeous specimens and research that highlights the biodiversity of our waters. In short, it’s like a marine science museum and an art gallery had a really smart baby.

Then there’s Ties That Bind, a photo exhibition by award-winning local photographers Toh Xing Jie and Michael Aw from now until 31 August 2025 in the Spirit of Exploration room.

It’s a look at the deep connections that keep ocean ecosystems thriving, with a special SG60 National Day twist that spotlights native marine animals.

Feeling hands-on? Check out the Fossilist Workshop at the Research and Learning Centre. You’ll learn all about fossil formation and even get to dig up your own prehistoric treasure. It’s part science, part archaeology, and entirely cool.

And just when you think you’ve seen it all, a series of marine animal-themed spotlight programmes will keep you engaged when you return once again (and yes, there will be photo ops).

Ticket prices start at S$42 for adults, S$35 for children, and S$35 for seniors, and vary for peak periods and residential status.
