Ever wanted to host a party without breaking the bank? 

While parties can be fun, it takes so much effort to just set up the food, games, and don’t even get me started on the cleaning up afterwards. 

What if I told you there’s a space that you can rent specially made for events and celebrations? 

Project CHKI is an interactive and immersive private studio — or as the organisers call it a “hangout buffet” — featuring everything that you’d ever need for a lit party. 

Think music jamming, Netflix and an abundance of fun activities ranging from old-school board games to Playstations. 

Even better, the layout is perfectly well thought out for a smoothless transition between stations in just one space. 

Every party needs music (obviously). 

Turn it up at the music corner where they’ll provide you with instruments like guitars, keyboard, speakers and more to get the vibes going. 

Up for some games? 

Head to the loft area with a foosball and pool table for a friendly match of billiards over drinks. 

Otherwise, you can always unwind at the sofa behind for a more chill and relaxed time.

You certainly won’t find a lack of entertainment here because they have multiple game stations from PS3, PS4, Rock Band and even VR controllers for an immersive experience. 

Settle yourself on a beanbag to get real comfy before picking out your game for the night. 

Speaking of which, they have a plethora to choose from including Fifa 12, Just Dance, The Last of Us, Diablo, Dragon Ball Fighterz — the list goes on.

Otherwise, nothing beats good ol’ LIFE or Cards Against Humanity at the board games station.

For those thinking of celebrating their birthdays here, they have a big enough common space at the first level to comfortably seat at least ten people or more with complimentary snacks and drinks. 

But, if you’re feeling extra peckish, I would suggest bringing your own food (a potluck maybe?). 

Prices start from S$25/hour for one to five pax or S$40/hour for six to ten pax.

Pretty reasonable if you ask me. 

Otherwise, save the hassle of lugging your props and book the Party Max from S$350 for six hours (for eleven to thirty pax). 

They’ll help you to set up a photo booth including props, tables, chairs and drinks, and bluetooth party speakers. 

All you have to do is turn up and have fun! 

Whilst it is a rented space, it’ll be shared with others so do remember to maintain the studio at its original state before you leave. 

Nevertheless, this space is perfect for every party enthusiast —  you might even become the best party host in your friend group.
