Amazing new rooftop sky garden with view of Marina Bay Sands now open to the public at Raffles Place

by

If you haven’t already heard, CapitaSpring is set to be one of the most anticipated building openings during the first quarter of this year. The brainchild of property developer, CapitaLand, the new building stands where the old Golden Shoe Carpark used to be at Market Street.

The new building not only boasts living and office space, as well as upcoming F&B establishments but also an amazing rooftop sky garden on the 51st floor, offering a magnificent view of Marina Bay Sands and the central business district area.

A Green Oasis awaits

Sprawling across three floors, from the 17 to the 20th, this expansive 35m-tall open area is home to a lush vertical garden (think Parkroyal Pickering hotel) and offers a quaint respite from the hustle and bustle of the CBD district.

Residents, employees and the general public can access this ‘park in the clouds‘ and enjoy the various amenities such as ideation nests and work pods while enjoying food and drink from the newly-opened cafe, Sol & Luna, located right next to the garden.

Explore the trawling greenery as well as discover over 70 types of plants that have been planted all over the space. Perfect for getting a walk in in the midst of a busy day, or heading out to the aerial pathways for some fresh air.

Head on up to the 51st floor, where you will find the Sky Garden, and be treated to spectacular views of Marina Bay and the Central Business District. Indeed, it is deserving of its call-to-fame as Singapore’s tallest and publicly accessible observatory deck with stellar 360-views of the surrounding area.

The sky garden is also home to a small urban farm, put together in partnership with Edible Garden City, with five themed plots. Take a walk around and you’ll be able to spot edible veggies growing, such as Daikon Radish, Okra and several varieties of Spinach.

These plants will be part of a farm-to-table initiative for 2 new F&B concepts opening at CapitaSpring’s rooftop soon.
