Singapore just got a meaty upgrade with the Philippines’ largest Shawarma chain making its long-awaited debut on our shores. Over the last five years, they have been opening outlets in the Philippines every two days.
On 30 July 2025, Shawarma Shack just opened its very first overseas outlet in Toa Payoh to mark its 10th anniversary.
This expansion is just the beginning. They have plans to open a second outlet in Poiz Centre, Potong Pasir, this October and also plan to explore additional locations in both the east and west regions of our country.
So, what is a Shawarma? Think of it as a flavour-packed Middle Eastern wrap with slow-roasted meat and fresh, crisp vegetables for that satisfyingly healthy bite.
Shawarma Shack promises to deliver the same hearty meals that fans in the Philippines love with a few local tweaks. The menu features their signature wraps, rice meals, and salad boxes with chicken or beef options.
They have two sizes for their Shawarma wraps — perfect if you’re looking for a quick bite or craving something more filling. Enjoy their regular Loaded Beef Shawarma (S$6.30), or have it upsized (S$8.90).
Not feeling beef? Their Signature Chicken Shawarma is also a hit with the regular going for S$5.80 and the large going for S$7.90.
Prices start from S$5.90 for a regular Sharwarma wrap, making it an affordable grab-and-go option. One of their must-tries includes the Classic Broasted Chicken Rice (S$10.90), featuring tender yet crispy golden-fried chicken paired with fragrant rice. Alternatively, the Loaded Beef Shawarma Rice Meal (S$8.90) is another filling option for the fellow beef lovers out there.
For sides, you can load up on Sloppy Fries (S$5), Potato Popcorn (S$3.50), or Original Shawarma Nachos (S$8.80).
With its first Singapore outlet open and another on its way, Shawarma Shack looks set to carve out a loyal following among locals and expats alike.
