Simply utter the words “free-flow” and hordes of hungry folk will come running. Seriously, though, it’s so, so hard to resist the allure of anything all-you-can-eat.

If you feel the same, and are a sucker for anything Italian, Solo Ristorante is where you should head to on a Saturday.

The popular restaurant along Amoy Street specialises in modern Italian cuisine with influences from Emilia-Romagna, a region in northern Italy, and they’ve just launched a free-flow pasta brunch you definitely don’t wanna miss.

This Saturday Pasta Mancini Free Flow Brunch is priced at S$48++ per person and it’s available exclusively during brunch from 12pm–2.30pm on Saturdays

Although the offerings will rotate regularly based on seasonal ingredients and specials served on the regular Solo Ristorante menu, there will always be five different types of pasta, including a Chef’s Surprise.

At the time of writing, you’ll get to enjoy classics like the silky Rigatoni alla Carbonara with pecorino romano, guanciale, and black pepper, as well as the Paccheri, starring hearty slow-braised pork ragout.

Don’t miss out on the Spaghetti with sea urchin sauce, crab salad, and lemon zest — think of it as a toned down, yet equally flavour-packed version of the restaurant’s signature uni Tagliolini (from S$45).

Make it a full(er) meal with add-ons like Garlic Chilli Prawns, Soft Potato (S$18) and Burratina, Melon, Cherry Tomatoes (S$15), or even the 200g Angus Ribeye Steak (S$48) — only if you’ve still got the stomach space for it.

You’ll get to feast for 90 minutes, which starts from the time of your reservation, so don’t hesitate while ordering! Do note, however, that you won’t get to pre-order more than one pasta at a time.

Naturally, it ain’t weekend brunch without a little booze, so there’s really no reason not to wash all that pasta down with 1-for-1 selected housepour wines and S$15 cocktails.

Feel free to sneak in a Tiramisu (S$12) or Seasonal Tart (S$12) before rolling out of the restaurant (with a full belly, I hope!).

If your idea of a perfect weekend is eating (and drinking) like you’re on holiday in Italy, look no further than Solo Ristorante.

Reservations can be made here.
