Celebrate SG60 at Suntec City’s Together In Jubilee Joy, with exclusive rewards, supersized local food-inspired games and more

by Maeve M

SG60 celebrations are ramping up, and Suntec City invites all to celebrate Together in Jubilee Joy, paying tribute to our local heritage, flavours, and community spirit.

From now until 31 August 2025, journey through our little red dot’s past 60 years of memories with nostalgic and interactive installations, as well as community-led art and cultural showcases.

Of course, what’s a party without perks? You’ll be able to enjoy shopping rewards with same-day spending at Suntec City:

  • Spend S$60 to receive S$3 Carpark Dollars
  • Spend S$160 to receive a S$5 Suntec City e-Voucher (Suntec+ members who link their yuu account to the Suntec+ App will receive an additional S$5 Suntec City e-Voucher)
  • First 100 shoppers daily to spend S$200 receive a S$10 Retailer’s e-Voucher (Restaurant & Bar)

Note: Redemptions are limited to one same-day single receipt, per member per day. Terms and conditions apply.
Begin your festivities with the whimsical, culinary-themed playground located at Suntec City’s Atrium (Tower 1 & 2).

From now until 10 August 2025, register as a Suntec+ member to play for free at the event zone with larger-than-life, interactive hawker-inspired installations.

Your little ones will love the Singapore Dragon Slide inflatable, a recreation of the iconic Toa Payoh Dragon Playground. There’s also the Chendol Ball Pit, a giant green-and-white zone of fun.

Over at the Food Playground Challenge, grab a mission card and embark on a food-themed adventure through four game stations, each inspired by iconic local dishes — The Crabby Swing, Giant Lemak Stone, Chicky Stack, and Prata Shot.

We don’t want to spoil the fun, but expect to solve 3D puzzles, play giant Five Stones, race against the clock to “serve” chicken rice, and flip prata like a pro.

If you collect all four stamps successfully, you can redeem a special keepsake, while stocks last. Freebies include reusable crab straw covers, adorable SG60 sticker sheets, and Gojek vouchers.

Don’t forget to check out the 600-tile digital community mural by local illustrator Kow Fong (阿果), known for his heartwarming watercolour illustrations of everyday Singaporean life. Designed exclusively for Suntec City, you can be a part of it too — support a great cause and donate a minimum of S$5 to Community Chest’s SGSHARE to create a digital tile penned with your hopes and your dreams for Singapore.

That’s not all, because the hype peaks over the National Day weekend from 8 August to 9 August 2025, as Suntec Plaza transforms into a vibrant, outdoor marketplace. Other than free ice cream, there will be a lively line-up of Singapore-themed trivia games and homegrown makers alongside nostalgic NDP songs.

Are you an expert at MRT lines? Try your luck at the MRT Mastermind game to win old-school Mama Shop snack packs or classic favorite breads. Catch live performances by Ben Hum and his band as the crowd sings along to those iconic local tunes we know by heart (this is home, truly).

With nostalgic exhibitions, community art, and hawker-inspired playground fun, Suntec City is where SG60 memories are made. Follow the trail of events at other parts of Suntec City including ‘Into the Hawkerverse’ by the Children’s Museum Singapore near BYD, amongst many others.

It’s time to rally the family and head to Suntec City’s Atrium to take on the Food Playground Challenge.

Let the games (and the joy) begin!
