When it comes to Tanjong Katong, Singaporeans are quick to list the popular laksa or brunch buffets to enjoy on your weekend mornings.

So, we’re here to add on another option for your consideration, Supernova Cafe.

Located along Tanjong Katong, a vibrant stretch filled with bakeries, restaurants, and cafes, you’ll find Supernova Cafe. What sets Supernova Cafe apart is its stylish interior and relaxed atmosphere, which invite people to unwind within the cafe itself.

This cafe specialises in brunch innovations, and as brunch-aholics, we love having a variety to choose from. If you enjoy a mix of sweet and savoury, then you must try the fan favourite Fried Chicken French Toast (S$24.50)crispy battered chicken leg served atop thick, fluffy Japanese milk bread, drizzled with hot maple syrup and garlic butter on the side.

Prefer beef instead? Then you’re in for a treat with the Steak Hash (S$28.23). A hearty dish made entirely of seared steak and crispy hash potatoes, and served with a runny sunny-side up egg. For our scrambled egg fans, there’s also the option to request that your eggs be scrambled instead of sunny-side up.

When it comes to pasta, Supernova Cafe has got you covered with Spaghetti with Beef Bolognese (S$24.96) and Aglio Olio (S$18.75). There’s even a Salmon Soba Bowl (S$24.53) if you’re in the mood for salmon and soba in a cosy, small bowl.

As for appetisers, you can opt for the Spicy Veggie Tempura Bites made out of crispy, fried vegetables coated with chilli flakes. Another option that blew our minds is the Don Don Buta, comprising crispy battered pork cut, vegetables, an onsen egg, and soft, warm Japanese rice.

After having a hearty brunch session with your friends, unwind over a cup of coffee, tea, or speciality drinks like The Cosmos (S$7.96) or The Milky Way (S$7.96)—ranging from as low as S$5 to just S$8. Get a Croissant (S$5.01) or Sticky Cinnamon Bun (S$6.65) to complete the entire dining experience with Supernova Cafe.

If brunch is not your favourite meal of the day, then you can always drop by for a late lunch, tea time or even dinner. Their menu is versatile enough for the mains to be enjoyed at any time of the day.

The cafe is open from 8am to 7pm on Sundays to Wednesdays and 8am to 10pm on Thursdays to Saturdays. Unfortunately, the brunch menu is available only until 5.30pm on Thursdays to Saturdays and 6.30pm on Sundays to Wednesdays.

With that being said, there’s absolutely no reason not to pay a visit to Supernova Cafe and enjoy their delectable mains at any time, any day.
