10 food spots around Temasek Poly serving mochi waffles, pink rose pasta, Bingsu and more

by Letresa Yap

Finally, it’s on to food spots around the very last polytechnic on the list. This time, we’re at Temasek Poly, all the way at Tampines

Saving the best for last was definitely the way to go, with the many hidden gems in view wherever you look. There’ll be a mix of sweet and savoury treats, but best of all, it’ll be time for you to rest after a long day of studying.

Put down your notes, find a friend, and give these 10 food spots a try.

1. Timestealer Cafe

As the name suggests, I’d worry about spending too much time here. Although, it can be difficult with the astonishingly affordable prices. Enjoy croissant sandwiches, rice bowls, burgers, and even baked potatoes for under S$10.

Indulge in the Egg Mayo Croissant (S$7) or Chicken Croissant (S$8) if you’re looking for some flaky goodness. Otherwise, the Fish Burger (S$7.5) or Chicken Burger (S$8.5) might hit the spot.

They even have a Classic Baked Potato (S$5) and Egg Mayo Baked Potato (S$6), where you can add on Butter, Sour Cream, Bacon Bits, and Nacho Cheese (+S$1).

For something heartier, try the Teriyaki Chicken Don (S$7.20), Yakitori Chicken Don (S$6.80), or the Battered Fish Rice Bowl (S$5.80).
