Following its major comeback in November 2025, *SCAPE shifted its focus away from retail to youth-led arts and community programmes. While many Singaporeans felt that *SCAPE has lost its touch, we’re here to prove that it has re-emerged as the up-and-rising lifestyle hub we once adored.
1. Food

Good food brings Singaporeans together, and *SCAPE is crawling with seriously amazing choices, from Japanese crepes to specialised brewed coffee made by artisan cafés.
At the top of our mind is Hanco Coffee, which offers a wide range of caffeinated drinks and pastries. Some of our favourites include the Truffle Burnt Cheesecake (S$9) and Rice Dirty Coffee (S$8), both unique to the beloved café. We also love the eatery’s Korean-inspired interior, which makes us feel like we’re right in Seoul.
If you’re looking for a light treat to enjoy on the go, check out Kremi, which serves affordable, colourful crepes with prices ranging from S$7 to S$15. Not a big fan of overly sweet treats? Opt for Yoajung Korean yoghurt instead for a savoury-sweet dessert. Prices depend on the ingredients you choose, but here’s some good news for students—on weekdays, from 2pm to 6pm, Yoajung offers 20% off every order when you flash your student card at the counter.
The best way to enjoy *SCAPE’s food heaven is by stuffing your face with all their sweet and savoury treats ‘till you’re full.

2. Shopping

Once you’ve satisfied your sweet tooth, walk off the calories by window shopping in *SCAPE. You might normally comb through the shops floor by floor, but take our advice and head straight to the second floor. Here, you can visit ART/ST for their Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Post-a-Record experience at S$30. Choose a vinyl, a postcard, and a custom audio recording to create a personalised keepsake. Do note that copyrighted audio isn’t allowed, so bring an original recording for up to two minutes.
Want more? Join their Group Workshop sessions or VIP Group Workshops to lathe-cut your own vinyl or add a custom photo. Sessions run Fridays and Saturdays and start from S$100 per participant.
If you’re not a discophile, then head to SM Universe’s studio on the second floor instead (no need to sign up for dance class packages). Wander into the retail section and browse rows of official K-pop merchandise. From Red Velvet and NCT to AESPA, you’ll find light sticks, posters, albums, and more. Prices run on the steeper side, so if you’re not a big K-pop fan, we recommend picking up photo cards instead.
No matter what you choose, you’ll find something worth bringing home.

3. Hobbies

If you didn’t end up buying anything from SM Universe, cheer up! *SCAPE still offers plenty of activities to dive into, starting with the Dollop Pit Stop & Mini Mart Photobooth. Snap photos with friends at their cutesy grocery or exhilarating pit-stop booths, then dress up using the wide selection of props and accessories available. Each pair of photostrips costs S$12, which, in girl math, works out to S$6 per person for double the fun.
Want to triple the fun? Bring your furbabies to *SCAPE, especially since it’s a pet-friendly mall. Pamper them at Cloud Pet Grooming & Spa Therapy for a much-needed grooming session. Treat the well-behaved pups to a full spa day, complete with a jacuzzi bath.
While your furbabies get groomed, check out the Pokémon Deluxe Gym, first opened on 18 January 2026. The venue welcomes Pokémon trading card gamers (TCG) to play out on the battlefield. If you’re not into trading cards, you can still browse through their official merchandise of adorable Pikachu plushies, figurines, toys, and more.
Whether you love snapping memories, spoiling your pets, or exploring the world of TCGs, *SCAPE offers something new to experience.

4. Ongoing Events
Once you’ve recovered from your photobooth escapade and Pokémon gym training, you can take a stroll around *SCAPE. Every month, or occasionally on certain weekends, you’re bound to stumble across seasonal events that will blow your mind.
One of these ongoing events happening right now is none other than COMMA 2026—*SCAPE’s signature creative arts festival.

The annual COMMA 2026 is a youth arts festival that brings together young artists across multiple disciplines to showcase their creativity, talent, and imagination. These disciplines include (but are not limited to) experimental works, performances, and media by emerging artists.
In a world dominated by technology, algorithms and automation, COMMA 2026, themed Softer Systems, aims to turn the spotlight back on the human pulse within digital life.

Some of the noteworthy programmes not to be missed are Street Art Residency Mural Tour, TasteTest, OMAKASE and more.
Firstly, the Street Art Residency Mural Tour focuses on nurturing six talented youth street artists, encouraging the growth and awareness surrounding the local street art culture in Singapore. The tour will be taking place on 24 January 2026, from 2pm to 3pm across various locations in *SCAPE.
Next, the artist collective, TasteTest, features works by Dawn Lim, Hilary Yeo, and Tulika Ahuja. From visual art to thought-provoking sculptures and performances, TasteTest explores the harmonious bond between technology and food consumption. Thankfully, this exhibition will run throughout the COMMA 2026, and is free for all to enter.
Last but definitely not least, OMAKASE offers a hybrid art experience led by Decadance Co., known for creating immersive and life-like performances. In this edition, you can enjoy the show by their four iconic choreographers — Joanne Seow, Oh Jia Hao, Jack Ng, and Joseph Chua — where they’ll orchestrate an original duet. Expect an intimate evening of food, wine, and contemporary dance that’ll leave an unforgettable impression. The performance will take place at *SCAPE Whitespace Level 3 on 31 January 2026, from 8pm, with tickets priced at just S$8.

Unsure of which art programmes to go for? Here is the list of programmes taking place during COMMA 2026 that may entice you. Regardless of the art programmes you choose to attend, be sure to venture to *SCAPE or the Somerset Belt from 16 January 2026 to 31 January 2026 to fully enjoy this local art festival that will leave you feeling inspired.

5. Rest and Recharge

End your day with a breather at L^IFE Camping Ground—featuring synthetic grass, small pebbles, and camper chairs that invite passers-by to relax and recharge. If the chairs are taken, feel free to sit on the grass and enjoy a full-on indoor picnic with friends.
Another highlight of the Camping Ground is its strategic location—it’s right by the entrance of the mall, offering a comfortable spot to take refuge before or after exploring *SCAPE. It’s the perfect place to eat, rest, recharge or just yap with your friends about how the day flew by so quickly, yet felt so fulfilling.
Beyond the Camping Ground, you can also hang out at the outdoor plaza or many alfresco spots on the upper floors. Still, nothing beats the Camping Ground for its air-conditioned comfort and sheltered setting.
